The hotel is very clean and modern and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast is excellent and the outdoor pool, whilst not huge, allows for a welcome cool off after visiting the city.
The only criticism would be that you can hear the screach of the trains from the pool area (but not from out room) and that the hotel is located on the outskirts of Barcelona. However that said, the metro is only a 10 minute walk away and there are 3 lines (L6, S1 and S2) which run into the city so you never have to wait long for the metro, also you tend to always get a seat on that line as it has mainly residents rather than tourists on board.
“ Top Tip: On the opposite side of Augusta from the Metro are some shops, a couple of cafe of bars and a really nice Tapas bar which is always busy but serves great food in an authentic and friendly atmosphere.

This was nice looking modern hotel with some great design features, some a little odd perhaps. Great price, though this reflected the location far out of the city centre. The metro stop is a five minutes walk away (a little up hill on way home) and nearest restaurants about the same, though the majority are 10/15 minute walk away in Sarria centre.
Great value and an excellent choice if you want a modern design hotel without the Barcelona prices - but not in the thick of things if that is what you want.

Top Tip:
The St Remy restaurant (ask hotel for directions, they recommended to us) is 3 blocks away. Fabulous Catalan food, quite simple but in very nice surroundings, was about 90euro for 2 courses and bottle of wine.
Also ask hotel for the restaurant map which shows location of nearby restaurants as you probably won't stumble across any.
