“ quite a basic hotel, but exceptionally clean and tidy, breakfast was buffet style, something for everyone, and plenty of fresh hot coffee, croissants, pastries, toast etc, highly receommended.
“ Top Tip: lovely restaurants closeby, ie 10 mins walk, where you can sit outside if you prefer, food good and reasonable

“ We had a very interesting and pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and someone was always on hand if needed. The rooms were well cleaned and our bathroom had plenty of shelf space and a shower in the bath that worked well. The hotel was 5 minutes walk to the metro line and it took about 10 minutes to get to the centre of the city. The area is fairly quiet by Barcelona standards, the hotel is not on the main road. It cost 25 euros to get from the airport to the hotel (including airport and luggage surcharges) and took about 30 minutes. Most people in the area seemed like locals, it was a good chance for us to practise our Spanish/Catalunyan.
“ Top Tip: The local libaray was just across the road from the hotel, anyone could go and read the (Spanish/Catalunyan) magazines and books - there were some English. There were several local bar cafes by the metro (used by locals) rather noisy as on the main road, but plenty of life going on and good beer/wine. There were a couple of more expensive restaurants on the way to the metro. There was a small local shop 2 minutes from the hotel.

“ a bit far from downtown, but now with the subway goes everywhere. I liked it, but beware if ordered without breakfast room and breakfast there sitienes drinking a coffee and toast breakfast is worth 12.50 euros.
