The Ambassador Playa Hotel consists of two sister hotels linked by a covered walkway and will appeal to families, young and lively and couples looking for a central hotel from which to enjoy Benidorm. The property is very popular with British holidaymakers due to its great location and varied choice of activities and entertainment available on-site.
The hotel is an official 3 star but due to its amenities and recent refurbishment we have categorised it as 4.
Features
Amenities at the Hotel include a 24 hour reception, buffet style restaurant and 3 bars (4 in summer), there is also evening entertainment including live music, folklore shows and dancing.
The Hotel consists of 460 guestrooms all furnished with bathroom/shower, television, telephone, air conditioning, safety deposit box and balcony or terrace (certain amenities may be payable locally).
Location
The hotel enjoys a central position just 250m from Levante beach and its wide promenade, and 50m from a varied selection of bars, cafes, restaurants, nightclubs and shops.
Activities
Leisure facilities at the Hotel include two outdoor swimming pools, 1 covered over and heated from November - April, children's play area, table tennis and pool table.
There is also the Benicaldea fitness centre, which is operated under separate management and is payable locally - guests receive a 30% discount on the entrance fee with gym, sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool bath, indoor plunge pool, solarium, massage and beauty treatments available.

“ Great hotel, good sized room and facilities, hotel spa is great and well worth the 6 euros per person, in-door pool was good but just a bit cold, ok when you move around. Hotel staff seemed ok didnt have much interaction with them. close to everything, literaly two seconds away from neptunes bar (of t.v show benidorm), bout 5 min walk from the square. just an all round great hotel that is close to everthing.

Top Tip:
great steak house next couple of doors away from talk of the town bar, 12 euro for a three course meal and not cheap greasy meal like every place in benidorm. great value for money.
The outback pub, cheap ale cheapest place i found in benidorm and a free pool table.
Nice indian resturaunt close to the presidente hotel ask someone.

“ We spent a very pleasant week at the Ambassador last week. Bedrooms very clean and warm. Food was acceptable, with plenty of choice. I am ceoliac and I found plenty to choose from. Especially sweets!!! Was a cool week and was cold in the lounge bar when doors opened, would be better if only one door opened and not two. Not made aware that we could get 25% off drinks from a further two pubs which are attached to the Hotel. Would certainly return back to the Hotel in the future.

“ Hotel was nice, Meals were ideal with plenty of choice/ variety and good quality ideal for the mature holiday goer but deff not for families as the hotel has a small pool and little for youngsters to do, not just in the hotel but in the resort as a whole. Hotel is within 2 min walk to the beach and you trip over numerous Spanish and British pubs/bars getting there. The best of the local bars we visited was the Western Saloon which is part of the hotel and showing your key card gets you discount on some drinks, entertainment in there was very good and several of the acts were unmissable, especially the Blues Brothers tribute, very good and very funny.
“ Top Tip: Benidorm is not for the active holiday goer, rather a drinking hen/stag weekend kind of place,very built up. The local sealife place was closed untill March and the local zoo, Terra Micha was only open Fri/Sat/Sun due to time of season. If you do go I would suggest a afternoon nap, go out late and catch the variety acts, this Benidorm does well.

“ The hotel is the best I have stayed in Benidorm, food was great, Restuarant staff were excellent and the rooms are clean and tidy. Rooms cleaned every day, and the best bar in Benidorm (The Western Saloon) is connected to the hotel.
“ Top Tip: Palladium 'Karaoke' bar is quite close, and very cheap in the afternoon sessions.

A well known and popular hotel, situated right in the town centre of Benidorm, just a few minutes from the Poniente beach and the shops, restaurants and bars of Benidorm old town. Two restaurants with buffet system. Facilities include open air pool, covered and heated pool, ballroom, games room, TV lounge, gymnasium with sauna, squash courts and jacuzzi, hairdressing salon, parking etc... Daily entertainment programme with orchestra or disco every day, plus shows, cabaret, flamenco etc.
“ The hotel itself was satisfactory but the food was atrocious. Not recommended for English people at all. The choice was poor and quite frankly inedible. I'm not a fussy eater and will usually try anything but this was really bad.

This quiet and comfortable beach hotel has nice views of the sea and Benidorm beach. There are 12 floors and a total of 136 rooms, 6 single rooms and 130 double rooms. In the lobby guests will find a reception desk open 24 hours a day, with a money exchange service, safe box and more, as well as 2 lifts. The establishment has a spacious lounge-bar with terrace and an air-conditioned restaurant with buffet style cuisine, both with sea views. There is also a car park and garage (local charge applies and subject to availability) as well as terminals with Internet connections (local charge applies).

The Hotel Marina is located just 250 metres from the beach and 500 metres from the resort centre of Benidorm. The local area is surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, cinemas and cafes, perfect for a holiday in Benidorm.
“ we had nice holiday but would never stay in this hotel again, we were the only 2 english people in it ,it was full of spanish and think you should let us no this b4 we went ,we never ate in hotel because food was all spanish and felt not welcome at all ,made our stay very bad ,everyone we spoke 2 out side hotel said the spanish always holiday there it is not for the english at all .
