This quiet and comfortable beach hotel has nice views of the sea and Benidorm beach. There are 12 floors and a total of 136 rooms, 6 single rooms and 130 double rooms. In the lobby guests will find a reception desk open 24 hours a day, with a money exchange service, safe box and more, as well as 2 lifts. The establishment has a spacious lounge-bar with terrace and an air-conditioned restaurant with buffet style cuisine, both with sea views. There is also a car park and garage (local charge applies and subject to availability) as well as terminals with Internet connections (local charge applies).The hotel is situated by the seaside, 75 metres from Levante beach, in the area of Rincon de Loix. A few metres away guests will find a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. It is a 30-minute walk from the centre of Benidorm and the Old Town. There is public transport nearby.The rooms all come with a terrace and view of the sea. They have a complete bathroom with hairdryer; telephone, SAT television, safe box (local charge), air conditioning and heating. The hotel has rooms with double beds and connecting rooms (on request and subject to availability).The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool for adults with children's area, covered and heated in winter. There is a sun terrace with sun beds and views over the bay of Benidorm. Guests can also enjoy live music every evening and a variety of shows twice a week. The nearest golf course is only 5 km away.

The hotel is very close to the beach at the very north end of Levante Beach. Every room does have a very good sea view. The best views being from the rooms with the high numbers on each floor ie. 511, 611, 711 up to 1111 as a nearby block of apartments obstructs the view to the left of the hotel but not greatly.
The rooms themselves are very good and the balconies are all glassed in with double glazing that can be opened when sunny and closed if its cool.
The food is good with something for everyone. The food is much better at weekends during the winter months when the hotel gets full of Spanish visitors having a quick weekend break.
I cannot comment on the bar and entertainment as we went out into Benidorm every night.
One thing worth mentioning is the hotel is located at the end of Benidorm that gives easy access to three good walks. Two coastal walks and a walk up to a cross on the top of the hills where the views are fantastic.
We enjoyed our stay at the Benikaktus and would stay there again.

very clean and well organised hotel.Fantastic sea views and spacious rooms.
Food was plentiful,basic but tasty. Wine was fantastic value and if you don't finish the bottle you can keep for the next meal.
Overall very good value for money.

Renovated in 2005, this beach hotel has a total of 456 rooms (48 of which are single rooms) over 12 floors. This air-conditioned establishment offers guests a reception desk manned around the clock, lifts, a TV room, a games room, as well as a restaurant and a bar.

The Ambassador Playa Hotel consists of two sister hotels linked by a covered walkway and will appeal to families, young and lively and couples looking for a central hotel from which to enjoy Benidorm. The property is very popular with British holidaymakers due to its great location and varied choice of activities and entertainment available on-site.
