This medieval complex (camping) is 120,000 me in size and fulfils the dream of being taken back to the Middle Ages. It offers some bars and a restaurant, with a medieval atmosphere.This medieval complex (camping) is situated between Benidorm and Alfaz del Pe, 6 km from Rincon de Loix in Benidorm, 10 km from Benidorm centre and 7 km from El Albir beach.The property offers two different room types: the Queen Guinevere Bungalows come with two rooms separated by canvas curtains, a dining/ lounge area with a sofa bed, a TV, a fridge, air conditioning and heating as well as tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. The King Arthur Bungalows come with 1 or 2 rooms with 2 single beds or a double bed, a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom, a TV, a fridge, air conditioning and heating as well as tea and coffee facilities in the rooms.The complex includes a large lagoon-style swimming pool and a heated pool. It offers a games room, billiards and varied games as well as a varied entertainment programme for adults and kids. The Medieval Challenge and Pit of Terror shows are offered on a weekly basis (charges apply). The entertainment programme may vary during the low season.If arriving on the AP7 motorway, take exit 65B (Benidorm/ Levante). Continue along Avda. Comunidad Europea. At the junction, turn left and continue on Avda. Comunidad Valenciana. At the next junction, turn right onto Avda. Penetracien del Rincen. At the next crossroads, turn left onto Camino Viejo de Altea.The restaurant and bars may close due to low occupancy during some periods of year. The restaurant and bar services of any other Magic group hotels can be used by guests.

“ Magic Excaliber is a great resort and accommodation (chalets) was ideal for self catering. there is a great pool with separate area for kids to play with slides etc and also 2 adventure playparks. It has a poolside bar & cafe and 2 restraunts/bars. Unfortunately these were not open as we were told it was low season (27 Sep - 4 Oct) so all that was available was a pretty poor breakfast in the smaller bar/restraunt. However it is only a 10 min walk into Albir which is a large town with plenty of bars & restraunts to suit everyones taste. The resort has a huge covered entertainment area for Medieval shows and dining. A great familly resort & excellent location for visiting Benidorm, Albir & Altea (also plenty of bars & restraunts)
“ Top Tip: turn right out of resort to albir (10 min walk) for supermarkets, shops, restraunts & bars, you wont be dissapointed. Nearest sandy beach is Benidorm (Albir pebbled & altea rocky beaches). Hourly bus service from resort to Benidorm and you can use the facilities of all the Magic resorts.

We got a good price on this so I guess it was good value for money, but be warned this is a wooden hut on the Spanish equivalent of Butlins!
Virtually impossible to find as it is on the outskirts of Benidorm, (on road no 753) not in Alfaz. When we phoned the Excalibur they were not able to give directions.
Quite a few things in the room didn't work and you had to queue for ages at reception to get rather unhelpful service.
Also note that as it is a holiday camp, you have to have a 12 Euro buffet or head for the garage down the road - no snacks available.
