Palm Beach Benidorm Hotel

“ Hmmm, where do I start? This hotel was suitable for a group of Stags in their early 50's. A large swimming pool and great breakfast spread. Dinner was so so but at least we had a chance to eat some fruit and veg, which made a change from late night burgers and fried chicken.

The rooms were fairly basic but there was a small TV, Fridge and Hair Dryer. The bathrooms were quite small but with all that was needed, including a decent shower over a bath. Also, plenty of wardrobe space.

Safety boxes are in a secure room adjacent to reception, which itself is large, clean and spacious.

The hotel can be noisy at all times of the day due to the Stags and Hens coming and going.

It's about a 15 minute walk down hill to the first lot of bars and shops and a little longer to the immaculate beach.

I'd go here again with my male friends or even with a mixed group for a long weekend but not for a holiday.

The most annoying thing for us was the fact that the pool area was shut down, quickly and rudely by the pool attendant at 6pm every night. It could have stayed open for at least another hour, as sometimes the early evening period is the best time for swimming and sunbathing.

“ hotel was clean and food was basic but good, breakfast excellent. Too many large groups of lads, quite a bit of drunken trouble particularly at the weekend. Definiteley not a 4 star luxury hotel that the hotel seems to describe itself as!

“ The standard of the hotel was good and in a nice and quiet location.

There were a number of stag, hen and single sex groups and so there was lot of "all-day" drinking sessions by the pool and bar areas. This was in May and it is Benidorm after all.
Nothing too rowdy happened as there is a visible security presence which has a low tolerance of such behavior.

My main quibble was that the pool area closed at 6pm! We heard that this extends to 8pm during peak season.

If you going to stay by the pool even only for a few hours a day go all inclusive!

3 pints of lager was 9 euros, lemonade 7 euros.

The breakfast food is more than adequate but the juices and coffee were poor.
I can imagine the lunches would have been fine.

All in all though good value.

“ Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. food was good for price we paid. good airconditioning in the room. room cleaned daily. this hotel is not suitable for young children as this hotel fills up at the weekend with stag and hen partys although the hotel states it no longer allows stag and hens as of 16th of april this didnt appear to be the case. we are a young couple so it didnt bother us most of them are harmless and just having fun but some dont know when to draw the line. security are very good at looking after this hotel and they dont stand for any nonsense. entertainment was rubbish aimed at spanish but the nightlife in benidorm is top class theres lots to do there nice beach. This hotel is also on a very steep hill whether your young or old its still a challenge walking up it the hotel does give u free bus tickets if ur coming back at night taxies are only about 5 euros nice swimming pool and lifeguard looks after pool area well. also good choice of drinks on all inclusive.. would also book again through travel republic excellent service all round
