“ The diplomatic is an excellent hotel which offers well spaced rooms which are cleaned daily. The food is good but typical Spanish buffet fare. The only down side of the hotel is that the staff only speak Spanish most of the time and the guests using the hotel are predominantly Spanish and few English guests use it. It is very close to the old town and only two minutes walk away from all the bustle of the nightlife. But if you can stand that then this is a great hotel.

The hotel was excellent in every respect. The staff were courteous and helpful at all times and the service they provided, from chambermaids to restaurant staff to front of house, was first class. The only minor criticism I have is with regard to the entertainment, but this must viewed in the context that Benidorm offers entertainment to suit all tastes within a short walk of the hotel.
All in all I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

“ Beautiful hotel but rooms getting a bit tatty.but certainly not for britsh people entertainment and food cater more for Germans Spanish and French ate out most nights thank god only there for 5days
