Some rooms have a terrace, and some have a sofa bed (subject to availability).The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool for adults with a children's area, and a sun terrace with sun beds and parasols surrounded by gardens, shared with Hotel Sol y Sombra (owned by the same company). “ This hotel caters mainly for the Spanish. I did not encounter one English person during my stay. Food OK but breakfasts catered for Spanish tastes. Pool Area good and hotel was fairly quiet but entertainment geared for children. No evening entertainment, had to go to other hotels for evening shows.

Friendly atmosphere, clean rooms serviced daily, good food with pleasant staff, the price was very reasonable plenty of older guests who also seemed to enjoy the hotel.
The pool was across the road but was shaded so quite cool in October better off at the beach wher the water was very pleasant and about equivalent sea temp to UK. in summer.
It was about 10 minutes walk to the beach, promenade or the old town, Every man and his dog promenades from about 9.30Pm. until 11.00pm. I would use this hotel again. Well away from the "English Square" which was about 30 mins walk but best avoided unless you want John Smiths & fish and chips.
“ Top Tip: The Carnival lasted over the weekend in the Old town 3rd -5th October and was tremendous with parades nightly, Saturday night's parade was the best with Bands, Horses and lasted about an hour with many hundreds of marchers in some very elaborate costumes. Seems to be a celebration of the Moors being defeated and driven out by the Christians.

“ The credit crunch means Brits are welcome now.No English TV, but other languages catered for.Breakfast is disgusting and evening meal is just about OK. Free complimentary drinks with all evening meals and there is no limit.Swimming pool is shared with the Sol Y Sombra hotel opposite.Its too small for both hotels and resembles a building site with buckets and mops all over the place. avoid this area.The beach is quite a walk away as is the centre of town.Single people get rooms without a balcony as per usual. Hotel is very clean and rooms are cleaned daily as is towel exchange.No shampoo or shower gel provided so make sure to take some with you.Whilst it is not too bad I would say find another hotel if possible but if you have to use it.Staff are very helpful so its up to you.

Built in 1971, this hotel was completely renovated in 1997 and offers a total of 247 rooms, spread over 11 floors. The hotel lobby area offers guests a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and lift access. “ Although this hotel was clean it was very basic. There was mainly Spanish people staying there, who made it very clear they did not like English people. The food was very basic as well and very bland. I will not be going back there again. It was quite a walk to the beach each day.

This hotel is situated 250 metres from the beach and 800 metres from the centre of Old Town and Benidorm. The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms with full bathroom facilities. Facilities at this hotel include a large swimming pool (heated during the winter), adult swimming pool, children's pool, tennis court, table tennis, children's playground, sun loungers, background music, press, bar service at the pool, shows, live music, dancing at the disco, a buffet restaurant and a varied entertainment program.
“ Excellent position for everything, very clean even though our room was overlooked on one day, but soon corrected after a word at reception. Very friendly and helpful staff. My critiscm would be insufficient choice of vegetables at dinner, and food did not appear to be kept at hot enough temperatur.

The Hotel Marina is located just 250 metres from the beach and 500 metres from the resort centre of Benidorm. The local area is surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants, cinemas and cafes, perfect for a holiday in Benidorm.
“ we had nice holiday but would never stay in this hotel again, we were the only 2 english people in it ,it was full of spanish and think you should let us no this b4 we went ,we never ate in hotel because food was all spanish and felt not welcome at all ,made our stay very bad ,everyone we spoke 2 out side hotel said the spanish always holiday there it is not for the english at all .
