“ Just back from a one week stay in the Benelux Park and was absolutely delighted with the ambience, food and accomodation. Was somewhat apprehensive about going to a 3 star hotel, (we were visiting some friends who were staying there for 4 weeks) but found that the food and facilities were on a par with a 4 star we stayed in last year in Tenerife. We were particularily impresssed with the quality and variety of the food, the lounge/bar area and bedroom had been refurbished and the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff all added to making a very enjoyable week.

“ Hotel very good standard. The food was good and service was spot on. It was near to old town but a taxi from new town, if you are wanting that then you need a hotel nearer the new town and british entertainment.
“ Top Tip: The beach is a short stroll with shops etc and lovely quieter beach.

This is definitely a 3 star hotel, the staff were pleasent and helpfull. there was a good mix of nationalities staying in the hotel mainly French, Spanish and Scandinavian. The rooms were small but adequate but the bathrooms were very small. One good point was that the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Meal times could be a bit of a problem as they were very regimented, breakfast was from 8am-10am and dinner was from 7.30-9.30 all tables were cleared by the end of meal times and food removed so if you hadn`t finished your breakfast by 10am or your dinner by 9.30pm then you had no chance. The food was of a good quality but choice was a bit limlted and a bit repetitive.
A plus point would be the location of the hotel, it was only a short walk to Poinente beach about 10 mins and the old town of Benidorm with its narrow streets and tapas bars and great atmosphere was also within walking distance.

“ We were a family of four and we had a double room with 2 extra beds crammed in. Fortunately we spent all our time out of the room for that reason. The hotel catered for the spanish and dutch people I.e disco food etc.
“ Top Tip: Don't go in aug as it is very busy. Spanish hols.

“ The hotel was perfect for our weekend away with the girls although most of the other guests were a lot older than us and we're in our forties! Food was fine and plentiful. Room basic but adequate for our requirements.

In the lobby guests will find a 24-hour reception desk with money exchange service and 2 lifts. The establishment also offers a bar and cafe, and an air-conditioned restaurant with buffet and TV room. There is a car park (with a local charge and subject to availability).
“ Although this hotel was clean it was very basic. There was mainly Spanish people staying there, who made it very clear they did not like English people. The food was very basic as well and very bland. I will not be going back there again. It was quite a walk to the beach each day.

“ The Poseidon Complex is in a good location between the old and new town and about 400 or 500 metres from the beach. The rooms are good, clean with great showers. Food is perfectly adequate and the staff are first class and friendly.

This hotel is situated 250 metres from the beach and 800 metres from the centre of Old Town and Benidorm. The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms with full bathroom facilities. Facilities at this hotel include a large swimming pool (heated during the winter), adult swimming pool, children's pool, tennis court, table tennis, children's playground, sun loungers, background music, press, bar service at the pool, shows, live music, dancing at the disco, a buffet restaurant and a varied entertainment program.

This hotel ideal in winter but in summer would be very noisy due to nightclubs nearby. Quite a good food selection as long as you like pork and salad.
