The Corona del Mar Hotel is located in an excellent position in front of Poniente beach and close by to the shops, bars and restaurants of the old town. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, minibar and telephone. There are also a variety of leisure facilities available on site including a coffee bar with panoramic terrace, outdoor swimming pool for adults and children, Jacuzzi and a great waterslide.

“ the hotel was great - well positioned near the beach, hotel was spotless, reception staff - nothing was too much trouble for them, range of food was excellent, rooms cleaned thoroughly everyday, plenty of hot water. First time I've been to Benidorm - would definitely go back to this hotel. Positioned right on the edge of old/new town - absolutely brilliant!!!! Anything you wanted to know, the staff could help you out.
“ Top Tip: Sherry's bar near the castle mirador is lovely - great atmosphere and home cooked food. The benidorm "tram tour" is well worth a go on!!!!

“ We have visited this hotel 6 times. It is spotlessly clean with spacious rooms. Food is quite varied and all but the fussiest eaters should be able to find something to suit them. One slight drawback in the winter is that the outdoor pool area gets very little sun, but with the beach just across the road this shouldn't be too much of a problem. Corona del Mar is situated on the quieter side of Benidorm's old town which gives you a variety of walks. The railway station is at the top of the road from the hotel and bus stops are not too far away. Benidorm in winter has more Spaniards on holiday than Brits but that only adds to the atmosphere.

Excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff in all departments. Nothing was too much trouble. Cleanliness could not be faulted in any way. Impressed that non residents could not access the facilities. Location excellent. Bars and resturants easily walkable as was the old town. Would certainly recommend and also return ourselves.
Downside-hard pillows.

Have experienced better food at similar standard hotels. Some restaurant and bar staff not happy in their work. Customer Relations Officer at hotel a good idea. Lounge on 7th floor quiet and comfortable. Lifts and ramps good.
Room 512 had scuff marks on walls. Balcony glazing poor causing room to suffer from traffic noise.
Bathroom had stained bath, insecure lavatory seat, tired towels. Toiletries provided obviously very cheap.

Use A2B Transfers for excellent service at a cheap price.
Local buses cheap at around £1 per ride, but you do need a map of the system via Tourist Office (could not find on internet).

A well known and popular hotel, situated right in the town centre of Benidorm, just a few minutes from the Poniente beach and the shops, restaurants and bars of Benidorm old town. Two restaurants with buffet system. Facilities include open air pool, covered and heated pool, ballroom, games room, TV lounge, gymnasium with sauna, squash courts and jacuzzi, hairdressing salon, parking etc... Daily entertainment programme with orchestra or disco every day, plus shows, cabaret, flamenco etc.
“ The hotel itself was satisfactory but the food was atrocious. Not recommended for English people at all. The choice was poor and quite frankly inedible. I'm not a fussy eater and will usually try anything but this was really bad.

“ In general hotel allround was very good, choice of food was excellent, room was nice, the one thing that lets it down is the lack of a comfortable lounge area, the basement lounge to say the least is pretty basic and not welcoming and stark . We did not enjoy sitting on plastic chairs whilst watching the evening entertainment ?????????????
