“ We were six bikers just in from Santander. Hotel was en route to Picos De Europe and was very good and in a picturesque spot, friendly and had a good bar !! All was in order with our booking, so thank you Travel Republic

Top Tip:
Two minute walk into town and plenty of bars and resteraunts to choose from.
If traveling from Santander along coast road, check with hotel if road open, we found it closed due reconstruction and had to take a long detour.

“ Exceptionaly pleasant lady on reception, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were bright and very clean and the hotel had it's own car parking facilities. Located within a short walk over the bridge from the town centre, the hotel had great views from the front, (although unfortunately our room was at the side). Breakfast was basic but adequet. San Vicente is a beautiful little place well situated for touring the Picos de Europa and the Costa Verde. Town is a little quiet at night, but a decent choice of restaurants if you like seafood and eating after 8.30pm.
“ Top Tip: Take the drive from San Vicente to Portes in the Picos de Europa, but for one of the most spectacular drives, take the road towards Burgos through the Canyons of the Ebro. This was barely mentioned in the guide books yet it is a sight that will live we me for years.
