“ Clean room but decore needs updating. Good size room. No outlook from window.

Good basic continental breakfast.

Very nice attached coffee bar with snacks and alcohol available.

“ Top Tip: Have your main meal between 2-4.

Set menus are the best value.

2 courses (good size pasta and T-bone steak with chips to follow) with a bottle of wine and coffee - 11 euros.

These restaurants are found with 800 metres of the hotel.

Small bars are all over the city. Good for a glass of wine and many have free tapas. Not so good for food.

“ Only staying for one night as passing through Santander. Room clean,tidy and no problems to report apart from the person I was sharing with in my party complained I snored !!. The staff are very friendly and helpfull, breakfast quite basic but more than enough to set you up for the morning. Would use again and again.

“ Top Tip: If you want the beach at Sandiniro or Plaza I'talia it is a 10-15min bus ride away walk through the tunnel close to the bus station and there are 4-5 frequent routes from there. Santander is mainly a port town and the locals some have limited English but is a great chance to learn to speak Spanish as if you make the effort the locals will try to help.

“ This Hotel was only 2 star but in my opinion it should be 3 stars. On arrival we were shown to our room by a very nice gentleman, he even arranged for our bags to be taken up for us.
There is a cafe/Bar attached to the Hotel, beers are cheap, coffee brilliant, up and down the street there are bars, 6 i think.
The one straight facing is best you get free Tapas(snacks)

“ Top Tip: Great Bar across from Hotel.
Dont get Taxi from Airport it costs 16/20euro. Bus is every 30mins on the hour and half hour, only Euro2.10 only takes 15mins to centre, when you get off bus go to end of bus stand straight ahead, turn left go down to main road, 100yds, cross crossing, turn right, go straight along main road for 300yds turn left, you arrive at hotel 5mins tops from bus station.

“ We were only in Santander for a night and needed to leave before breakfast so it is difficult to comment, however both staff that we dealt with were courteous and both spoke English.

“ Top Tip: Less than five minutes walk from the bus and train stations.
