We arrived late after a long drive from alicante found the hotel a bit basic,all though it met our needs for one night.The building is quite special with its many corridors being a old convent, the staff were very nice. We had diner at the hotel as it was Monday, and it seems all the other restaurants in walking distance are closed on Monday evenings !!!.
We were the first people to enter the dining hall. The service started fine and then the service went down hill some what when two or three other families arrived and after finishing our main course we waited for 30 minutes or so for our desert to arrive.We found this quite puzzling considering the dining hall probable could have seated 150 people and there were only 4 tables filled, maybe there is a lack of staff on Mondays!!
They should also think about changing the out fit that the poor waitress has to endure, she wore a terrible skirt and a awful top with a large money belt that is supposed to look like a nuns dress code, she looked more like a grubby market girl selling fruit and veg from the Victorian era, this does not work at all well.
