Very good location opposite the Mosque/Cathedral and key sites. It was so easy to get round, with everything within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast choices were very good.
There were two festivals during our stay in May. Its a good time to visit.
Only drawback is that parking may not be on site, and our car park was a little tricky to find, but persevere!

“ Nice hotel, which is literally next to the Mezquita, so very convenient!
“ Top Tip: Streets around the Mezquita are very narrow and busy. Would not recommend driving to the hotel, even though there is parking under the hotel. Let the local taxis take the strain!

“ Excellent position right by the walls of the stunning Mezquita. Very comfortable hotel with clean rooms and attractive central patio for evening dining. Meals are cheap and acceptable. Substantial/good buffet breakfast in the large dining room. Bar connected to hotel for good coffee and pastries and a large shop. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended.
“ Top Tip: Cordoba is an attractive city to explore on foot. It will be City of Culture in 2016 so improvements are alreay being made to roads near the Guadalquivir river. Look for small bars offering el plato del dia and sometimes share one meal. Visit the Jewish quarter and the artisan shops there. The modern city centre is good for shopping.

Nice hotel, right next to the Mesquita (main tourist attraction). Temperature during our stay reached 42 degrees C in the shade, yet the AC in our room was lovely and cool. A little annoyed that the car park at the hotel was full and I had to park on the public road (across the Roman bridge) around 1.5 km away or pay 14 euros in another car park 1 km away.
However, really impressed with hotel staff when we returned to Gibraltar (around 3 hours drive away) to find we had left our passports in the room. After a couple of phone calls, Antonia found them and sent them down via courier 2 days later for the paltry sum of 16.5 euros. Many thanks to the hotel and staff.
“ Top Tip: Try the Tapa resturants, 10 Tapas and beer for 12 euros is excellant. The restaurant we tried (beautiful inside) was disappointing and the Menu-del-dia was awful. Be aware of pretty surroundings, trust your instincts and eat what the locals eat!

“ Top Tip: Tricky to get in to to mosque square by car-follow signs and wait for someone to punch in code to lift barrier!!

The hotel was renovated in 2004 and consists of 6-storeys with a total of 106 rooms, of which 3 are singles, 103 are doubles and 2 are suites. The city hotel welcomes guests in the lobby with a 24-hour reception desk and offers a cloakroom as well. Additionally, amongst the hotel's facilities count a safe, a currency exchange desk and lifts. Further offers include a number of lounges, a cafe, a garden bar and a typical Andalusian patio. Dining options include an air-conditioned e la carte restaurant, which offers international and local cuisine. The inviting restaurant also offers highchairs for younger guests. “ This was a great hotel. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was super. We loved lying out by the pool. I would have rated the hotel 10 if they had more sunloungers that was the only downside.
