Xon's Platja Hotel are 150 metres from Empuriabrava Beach, on the Costa Brava. They feature a seasonal outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and spacious apartments with a private furnished terrace.
Most air-conditioned apartments offer views of the Mediterranean or Empuriabrava. All have a living room with satellite TV and 2 sofa beds. There is a private bathroom and rental safe. The kitchenette has a fridge and hob.

I had a good holiday at this hotel even though the food is not good and the hotel is outdated. --- very downmarket 70ish. Self catering is not provided as there is nothing to self cater with --- no equipment. just an electric hob. The rooms are kept clean daily.
The food is not good and is expensive. Mainly French and Spanish tourists stay here.
It is a hotel where every day many coach tours stop off. so there is constant noise of full coaches either leaving or arriving. I went in Spetember.
You could just stay here without paying for the food.
The staff are pleasant and friendly .

Top Tip:
This hotel is ideally situated in the town center with long walks along the promenade
and very close to the beach. We had a good beach view from our balcony. It is close to the Aquamols -- nature reserve which is a nice walk. Also close to the airfiled where they skydive ---
bikes are reasonable to hire daily. Lots of places to eat, many nice walks, near to marina also. Market day on Saturday is interesting.

“ The hotel could be updated as it seemed in need of a facelift from the front of the building, some umbrella's at the pool would have been useful when the weather was really hot. Overall the rooms were clean and the maid service was excellent.
“
Top Tip:
The restaurants were expensive and failed to find one in a decent price range. The beach was clean and child friendly

our stay was during a quieter period, some of the facilities were not available although the hotel staff were very helpful in suggesting somewhere local for entertainment and activities close at hand.
“ Top Tip: Lots to chose from and all very very nice and suits a number of different tastes in any group
