The Hotel, designed by Anibal Gonzalez, recognized and celebrated architect of the time. “ A beautiful, stately, stylish hotel, very old fashioned, very sold, very dark wood and Spanish. Tons of references to the "Old World" in its many pictures and objects (theme of Christopher Columbus' vogayes - he is said to have been in this city to refurbish his boats before setting off on one of his expeditions). Staff a bit cool. Water even cooler and took several goes to get the staff to take our insistence in having hot water seriously. Modest but perfectly nice breakfast served by smiling but wordless staff. We had a very comfy room with enormous balcony overlooking the town. A bit like staying in an extremely interesting and elegant museum.
“ Top Tip: Ice cream parlour & patisserie nearby may have been one of a chain, but nevertheless delicious fayre. The boat trip to the National Park did not penetrate far into the park, but the boat ride was lovely

Good location - right in the town & only 700 mts. to the beach
Our only complaint would be with the ´breakfast´ which was only a toasted roll with jam - orange juice & coffee - not what you expect from a 3 star hotel.
