the hotel was ok but nothing like the images that are displayed when viewing the hotel on the internet. there was always a queue when ordering drinks as there was only two members of staff working and sometimes one would disappear, saying that for what we payed it was ok i suppose we were expecting a little more
due to the read up on the hotel....
“ Top Tip: there are some good pubs in calella but a must visit is alcatraz pub always made to feel welcome and john is a good laugh a good night out if you like bingo also

This all-inclusive hotel turned out not to be.It was hardwork and not very relaxing or enjoyable...we had to have a card scanned everytime we ordered a drink with only one person serving the fact we could only have one glass per person and also had to return our glass to the bar everytime we'd like another was a challenge in it self. The hotel has a mixed board basis this system needs rethinking!
The food was the same everyday with no variety and we had an upset stomach after our first day!
We wouldn't re-book this hotel again!

Would've rated this stay at 10 but for; the all inclusive bar system (only 3 (miserable) staff on at night to serve a room full of people, on a good night it took 25 minutes to be served 1 drink) and the walls where thin in the rooms (you could hear every movement/cough/tv from next door & above) so if you're a light sleeper this isnt the place for you. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with a wheelchair or walking difficulties due to the volume of steps.
All the food available was good & i think covered everyone (salads, meat, fish, pasta, veg, dessert & fruit available every meal.) Its a pretty basic hotel but for the price i paid well worth it. Clean throughout, lovely pools & great location.
