The fully air-conditioned beach hotel comprises 8 floors and a total of 162 rooms of which 13 are suites, 7 are singles and 142 are doubles. Children are looked after in the kids' club.This attractive hotel lies in the middle of the tourist centre of Calella, only separated from the sandy beach (50 m) by a seafront street. Restaurants, bars, a diverse range of shopping facilities and nightclubs are within around 300 m. A stop on the public transport network is located only some 25 m from the hotel. The town centre is just around a 5-minute walk away.The tastefully furnished rooms are fitted with an en suite bathroom and a hairdryer. They are all equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a minibar/ fridge on request, central heating, air conditioning and a hire safe as well as a balcony or a terrace.The hotel offers guests an indoor pool, a swimming pool, a poolside snack bar, a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols, a Jacuzzi and a sauna. Hotel was fine, a bit on the small side..there wasn't a very big choice in the buffet food wise, but for the little choice available it was good food. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially Emily at the reception desk.
Its a nice place to stay for a relaxing break, not ideal for kids as being a smallish hotel there is little activity going on, hence they would get bored quickly. Pool very small, saunas and sun chairs on the roof of the hotel with great views. Beach is only a stone throw away, only negative with the location is the train that passes in front of the hotel which takes you to Barcelona for just 3 euros return ticket , ideal if you are wanting to visit other places, but a spoiler being that it passes by right opposite the hotel. Shops, cafes, bars all local and literally minutes away if not on the doorstep of the hotel. There was no entertainment while we were there as it was still early season and the hotel had not long opened up for the season, but the staff did say the night entertainment programs start from June onward's as things get busier. Overall a great stay for couples, and the older generation. NOT FOR CHILDREN.
