This 101-room hotel was completely renovated in 2001/2002, but every year different areas of the hotel are being updated. The hotel provides guests with services such as a restaurant, bar, and baggage room. All areas are air conditioned and have central heating, security cameras and fire alarms. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. A TV lounge, kids' club and a children's playground also feature. For an additional fee, guests can hire bikes.This family-friendly hotel is situated on the main Malgrat de Mar beach, Maresme Coast. From the hotel to the village centre is only 400 m. The seafront with its shops, restaurants, bars and clubs is just 50 m from the hotel. The Tordera River and the Sant Genes de Palafolls forest are just a 30-minute walk away. Calella is 10 minutes' drive away, and Barcelona can be reached in 80 minutes using public transport. The main train station is just 450 m away. Barcelona International Airport (BCN) is 69 km away, and Girona-Costa Brava Airport (GRO) is only 37 km from the hotel.The en suite rooms are fully equipped with a double bed, individually regulated air conditioning and heating units, satellite TV, suitcase storage and a safe (on request). All rooms have a balcony or terrace.There is a swimming pool in the hotel grounds, which features a children's swimming area and a poolside snack bar, sun terrace, sun loungers and parasols. There is a gym, hot tub and a sauna. Throughout the high season the hotel has an entertainment team, who plan daily activities for all of the guests. Some of the activities that guests can enjoy are aerobics, aqua aerobics, Spanish classes, darts competitions, pool/snooker, table football, football, beach volleyball and mini golf. Table tennis, biking, bocce, bowling and badminton are also available. At night guests can enjoy a disco, karaoke, live music and sketches.

“ Great little hotel, right on the beach with lovely staff, plus plenty of little bars, cafes, shops etc close by. We've stayed there three times now and will return again in the future. Julie (Stoke-on-Trent).
“ Top Tip: Eureaka Bar just through the underpass and up past the tobbaconist. Brill night out for all ages. Cheapest bar was Champions, they show all the football matches and there,s also a pool table. Seating outside if you're not into football - that's where we sat!!!.

“ The staff were extremely friendly. The food was really average and the lunches consisted of the left over dinner from the day before. Expected but not enjoyed! Some bar staff were very slow in delivering your order but always friendly. Cleaners lovely and generally a safe hotel to be in.
“ Top Tip: The beach was fantastic, amenities very close by but under a scary underpass that was not always lit! All bars close by were great! Have been to this area before and would definitely go back again! Great for night life!

“ The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the beach but also close to shops and nightlife. We will be using it again it is fantastic value for money and very clean and friendly. All different nationalities use this hotel which is also a bonus because if I wanted to holiday with all Brits I would stay in England. Don't expect too much in the way of evening entertainment though - it's a bit hit and miss.
“ Top Tip: Eureaka bar - through the underpass and take a left off the main street - good for evenings.

“ Hotel location is excellent - right on the beach. Entertainment was non-existent. The hotel itself looked very 'tired' and in desperate need of a complete refurbishment. Selection of food was very good although not very hot. They must realise this as a microwave is available to re-heat your meals. Overall, reasonable value for money.
“ Top Tip: Lovely sandy beach only steps from the hotel. Easy access to all beach resorts and Barcelona from outside the hotel.
