“ The room was spotlesslly clean, a decent size with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space but there were only 7 coathangers so I had to go out and buy some. The breakfasts were good, eggs cooked individually to each guest's liking and a good choice of cereals, juice, fresh fruit and bread. Evening meals were definitely geared towards the Spanish guests which was understsndable as a large number of Spanish pensioners arrived for their government sponsored holiday. Unfortunately we found it hard to find an evening meal we enjoyed after the middle of the week. The staff were lovely and obviously hard working. On the last Saturday notices were put up reminding people that clocks were due to go back- in Spanish, German and French. This also happened with notices about retaurant arrangements so anyone who couldn't read at least one of these languages would have had difficulties.

“ on first night a problem with our room so for staying in a "very small room" with bunk beds no ladder or guards round top bunk, reception told us we would be upgraded from half board to full board with drinks, and a proper room the next day. We were put in a proper room the following day at 12, but the upgrade to full board was a waste of time, the food was terrible and we ate out, the hotel is very nice and the pool area very good, but I would not stay here again unless on a room only basis.

“ A great hotel with a lovely swimming pool. It is in a great location as the beach is only a few minutes away with restaurants, bars and disco clubs nearby.

Staff were friendly and the drinks were cheap considering we were on half board basis.

The only downsides to this hotel is that there is no air con in the rooms and the rooms were a bit small for 3 people to live in for 7 days...but it was manageable! The food is also not great, pretty bland.We pretty much ate out then at the hotel.

But if you want a hotel where the beach is just down the road, has a lovely swimming pool, cheap drinks and great locations to bars and food places then this hotel is for you.

“ Top Tip: Definitely recommend Melia's Cafe. The staff are absolutely lovely and very friendly. We pretty much had our breakfasts and lunchtimes meals here! The caramel frappe is gorgeous and the mediterrean pizza is tasty!

Maui Lounge is also a great place to relax at and amazing view as it is right on the beach!! Recommend the Sex On The Beach cocktail and The Incredible Hulk cocktail. The music they play at this lounge is beautiful and relaxing!
