“ This hotel is a good alternative if you cannot get in to the Marapins. However, it really doesnt cater for the English client any more. The other guests were predominantly Eastern European and there were no English speaking TV channels apart from Eurosports. When I mentioned this to the reception I was told that it was a good opportunity to learn Russian. However, all that said it is a good standard budget hotel.

The Sorra Daurada is a typical Spanish 3star hotel. Our room was reasonably sized, clean and comfortable. The food was acceptable but you must accept that many Spanish (and other nationalities) do not expect their food to be as hot as we British do.
One big advantage for me, as a smoker, was the very large glass enclosed area at the front of the hotel (with an opening roof) where smoking is allowed. I would hazard a guess that this is the only "indoor" facility in the area.
Overall our 7 day holiday was enjoyable even though we were changed from the Maripins only a few days before leaving England.
“ Top Tip: Use the local train service. Quick, clean, cheap and reliable.

Looking for a hotel to enjoy a wonderful holiday Bella Beach is your hotel. Situated in the hotel area of Malgrat de Mar and just 250m from the beach, this hotel consists of six floors all with brightly decorated rooms. The hotel also has a restaurant and coffee bar surrounded by the garden and pool area creating a very intimate setting. Bella Playa also has an indoor heated swimming pool, a newly renovated mini club, a bicycle rental service, outdoor snack bar, a TV / reading room, games room and wi-fi. Enjoy all of this at your own leisure and remember: Our staff are on hand to ensure you enjoy the best possible holiday which is guaranteed to leave you feeling relaxed and looked after.
“ This hotel was spot on with friendly staff good food,( we had one bad meal )and exceptionally clean rooms, good though a little small and no draw space to speak of. The best thing was it was quiet and there was nor problems with sun beds. Safety deposit a bit steep at 28eoros but you did get 10 back when returning key. No fridge.

“ Stayed in Riviera for a week and were happily surprised after reading other reviews. The hotel was clean, rooms cleaned daily, towels changed daily. The staff was friendly and very helpful (also speaking English).
