Built in 1971 and renovated in 2003, this hotel comprises a total of 222 rooms spread over 7 floors. Various facilities are available to guests including a foyer with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a lift. Very clean comfortable hotel entertainment every night unusal in 3star. only had b&b so can only comment on breakfast which had plenty of variety.

Top Tip: All the restaurants are good ranging from pub grub up to **** I sampled the lot

The evening we arrived, even though we booked both hotel rooms through you at the same time we had 2 rooms that were on completely different rooms (1 and 3). When we asked about it we were told that you had not specified that we wanted the rooms together. When my sister went into her room, bearing in mind that she had a 9 year old and a 10 year old in the room and it was 10pm at night, one of the kids beds had glass fragments all over the bed and he ended up having to sleep in the 2 bedroom that my husband and I were in which fortunately for us had 3 beds in it.
The next morning when we went down to complain, we did manage to get moved (after a lot of hassle/arguing) to get moved to 2 rooms next to each other on the same floor. But the room that my husband and I were in had a problem with the shower which we reported 3 days on the trot and was a problem because basically the longer you stayed in the shower the temperature just went up and up until after about 4-5 minutes it was literally scolding. By the last day of the holiday, they did eventually fix it (sort of) in that it still continued to go up on the display but it alternated between freezing cold and hot.

Although what we had for evening meals was good, the choice was poor and there was the usual hot/cold lottery depending on how long the tray had been on the buffet bar.
If you're looking for an english breakfast, you'll be disappointed. We only saw 1 peice of bacon the week we were there and the only eggs were boiled ones.
The staff were friendly and the receptionists especially helpful.
Due to the time of year(end of season) many shops etc. were closed but the resort itself was very nice although the trek to find a subway under the seafront railway to get to the beach varied depending on where your hotel was.

Top Tip: Enjoy a day out in Barcelona. A return train ticket to Catalonia station cost under 7 euros.
Don't get confused about the churches. The one near the city centre is Barcelona Cathedral. You'll need a trip on the Metro underground to find the Sagrada Familia(Holy Family) church.
