The hotel although not being in the center of town has a few shops around and provide transport for free regular to the center of Santa Susanna, which is 5 min walk to the beach.

The Santa Susana Resort is situated approximately 1.2km from the beach and approximately 900m from the tourist part of town. There is a bus service to the beach and town. This bus is free of charge for the guests from 09.00 until 22.00 hrs (last bus) and it runs every 30 minutes.
Please note that the hotel does not accept bookings of students and young sports people.
Accommodation:
The hotel consists of 215 recently renovated rooms situated on 5 floors. Each room is equipped with a telephone, television, private bathroom with bathtub, safety deposit box and fridge for hire. It is highly recommended hotel for families.
Hotel Facilities:
The hotel offers various facilities including a restaurant with buffet service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a bar, swimming pool with sun terrace (free sunbeds and parasols), snack bar, childrens pool and children’s play park, souvenir shop and a mini club. There is also a games room, internet point, SAT TV lounge, hairdresser, self service laundry, disco and daytime entertainment. Last, but not less important, to point out the outdoor Jacuzzi (located in the pool area) and gym (only for adults use).
All Inclusive Food and Drinks:
There is breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the buffet restaurant (with free wine, beer, mineral water and soft drinks). All Inclusive drinks (unlimited amount) are served during meals and in the Bar from 10:00-00:00, which are locally produced alcoholic and soft drinks. Snack Bar (located in the pool area) is serving snacks from 10:30-12:30 and 15:00-18:30. In addition there are tea, coffee and biscuits available 16:00-17:00 and ice cream for the children 11:00-22:00.
All Inclusive Sport and Entertainment:
The hotel is offering day and night entertainment (including flamenco show, karaoke and live music), mini club for the children and transportation to the centre of the city. The Santa Susanna also provides special entertainment for children such as water games, mini disco, etc. For adults there are different activities such as darts competitions, water volleyball and basketball.
Children Facilities:
Separate swimming pool for children, playground, childrens menu as well as early suppers. High chairs and cots are available.

“ Top Tip: Pub Eureka corner in malgrat about twenty min walk from the hotel transport drop off point in town is great for all the family. Friendly service, and great if you begin to miss the British comforts and great prices local beer E1.95 and fosters E2.95.

“ The hotel was very much 3 star, our room was clean but could really with a re vamp, very dated, but the staff made up for it in volumes, they were fun, friendly & very helpful.
“ Top Tip: The food in the hotel was brilliant for all seatings & a lovely selection, the beach wasn't near bit of a walk, but a free shuttle bus made it easy, & also some lovely bars a short walk away. The train station was near by easy to get to Barcelona for a day trip, just get there early to get your ticket, one lady serving at all times.

A great family hotel, Very clean, and friendly staff, The food was varied over the week, and always plenty to choose from, from the buffet. All inclusive is definitely the way to go. A free land train transport service circulates the region of Santa Susanna and your arm band gets you on this free. From the hotel to the beach it a 5 min trip or a 10 min walk. The staff all speak English but really appreciate a please and thank you. Entertainment is laid on every night in the bar and ranged from Disco to Karaoke and a parrot show. I cannot state how clean this hotel is. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly daily with linen and towel changes. There is a Toddler pool, a main pool and whirl pool. With a poolside Bar supplying both drinks and snacks throughout the day. Sunbeds are locked until 8.30 to prevent the beds being occupied by towels only during the day. Not a bad idea that one.
So to summarise a good value for money family hotel.
“ Top Tip: The beach is quite gritty sand and drops away into the water steeply so not a good idea for small children paddling, I would do this in the confines of the resort pool's.

“ My family and I have just returned from a week’s holiday which we all enjoyed. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a gentleman at reception who was very welcoming and friendly and this continued from him throughout the week. The food was ok, varied and well presented. I was impressed with how clean the hotel was and this included room service daily. The hotel is situated next to a main road although it never really bothered us. There was evening entertainment in the bar area which included a Disco, Karaoke and a Parrot/Snake show and my 14 year old son benefited greatly from being able to socialise with others guests in the games room. There is a toddler pool, a main pool and a play ground for the youngsters but make sure you get up early for a sun-bed!. Personally, I found the pool area quite busy and small with little room between the sun-beds. Although there was limited space between each sun-bed by the pool; this probably adds to the friendliness shared between the guests. The beech is a short walk away from the hotel but you can always catch the free train outside the front of the hotel which runs every ½ hour. The train also stops at the main train station which enables you to visit other regions, including Barcelona. Great value for money. Would go again.
