The hotel complex offers accommodation in one of the most inviting places of Costa Brava: Pals. The hotel building was constructed in 1988, renovated in 1999 and consists of an 800 me garden as well as offering 118 studios and apartments over 3 floors. The hotel village was opened in 2001 and includes 22 houses with a garden and communal pool. The reception is occupied 24-hours and there is also a safe for guests' valuables and a lift. Additional facilities include a cafe, a kiosk, a small supermarket, a shop, a hairdresser, a bar, a nightclub, a games room, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and free Wifi access. Guests may use the laundry service and medical assistance if necessary as well as use of the bicycle cellar, the car park, the garage and children's playground.This apartment hotel is situated in a lively street, surrounded by pine trees and is around 900 m to the sandy beach. There is a restaurant directly in front of the hotel and in a number of minutes guests will reach the local public transport, which is only 200 m from the hotel, as well as plenty of bars and nightclubs located slightly further away.The light, comfortably furnished apartments include an en suite bathroom, a living/bedroom and a separate bedroom. In addition, all rooms include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a kitchenette, a fridge, a safe and central heating. The studios have 1 sofa bed, and studios for 4 people have 2 beds and 1 sofa bed.Guests may take advantage of the freshwater swimming pool with a children's area, the snack bar and sun loungers. Water aerobics, a tanning studio and a massage service are also available from the hotel. Sports enthusiasts may also enjoy the aerobics and riding (1 km away) on offer as well as play a game of tennis, table tennis, squash, billiards, minigolf and golf (900 m away). There are also a range of seasonal entertainment programmes on offer.The towels are changed 3 times per week, sheets twice per week. The apartments are cleaned daily, except on Sundays. The kitchens are not cleaned. Half Board, except in July and August, includes breakfast and lunch.

“ This hotel is basic,but very clean and the staff are helpful.The rear gardens and pool area are secluded and well tended.Towels and sheets are changed at regular intervals and the rooms are good with large balconies.At this hotel you are about a ten minute walk to the beach at sa punta and there is a small friendly spanish bar across the road with a restaurant next door.I would recommend hiring a car because there isn't much near the hotel to keep you amused,but i would stay here again with no hesitation.
“ Top Tip: car hire is a must and try visiting nearby l'estartit,calella de palafrugell,tamariu,cala montgo,sa tuna and tossa de mar but there is plenty to see on this coast.

Very clean and pleasant roomy accomodation.
Friendly and helpful staff, available 24 hours.
“ Top Tip: Great location for water sports, walking and golf and with easy access to medival towns, walking in the Pyrenees and the Salvador Dali museum in Figures and Girona and Barcelona reasonably close.

“ The hotel and room were clean, the swimming pool was excellent. There were plenty of sun beds during peak time. The staff were friendly and helpful and you could easily book excursions.
“ Top Tip: Baracuda bar open all year round, friendly owner. Niff Niff Restaurant very tasty food. All the beaches are of superb quality.

The resort was stated as Tamariu but the hotel was in fact in Platja de Pals, which is about 20 Kms from Tamariu.
Our booking was half board, which we took to mean Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal. In fact the hotel did not offer evening meal and offered Bed, Breakfast and Lunch. I did find tucked away on page three of terms some reference to Lunch rather than Evening Meal but this was not made clear at the time of booking. The meals offered by the hotel were of a high standard for the type of hotel i.e. self service restaurant but we would have preferred this type of half board to have been made clear at the time of booking.
