Very nice hotel with helpful & friendly staff. Room OK but 3rd person had to sleep on a camp bed. Breakfast very good. We didn't eat there in the evening as it looked a bit quiet but this wasn't a problem as there are about 6 to 10 restaurants and bars near by.
Overall, a very enjoyable place to stay!

Great location - two flights of step down to a beach. Beach was crowded, but it is the costa brava in August - the sea was great, and coast path also right there. Hotel is fine - nothing fancy, but clean and servicable and lovely views on at least one side of it. Our room didnt have air con but my sister's elsewhere in the building did, and they seem to be in the process of upgrading e.g new carpet. Ignore the comment on trip advisor about coffee - they now have a nespresso machine!
Good public spaces - sun lounge, shady porch and beautiful terrace for breakfast

Quite noisy with parties/drinkers outisde hotel.
“ Top Tip: Beach, to which the hotel is v close, is good and clean. Very nice food in the restaurants along the front - a little pricey. Very nice that there is no traffic along the front.

Very good freindly hotel on the beach, overlooking a small sandy bay, safe swimming in a small bay with a lifeguard. Ideal for families.So good We are thinking of going again.
Half a dozen good places to eat and a couple of bars, no real night life aprt from people watching as they prominade. A chill out place.
Lots of stairs to get grom the hotel to the beach.
“ Top Tip: Tamariu is a small gem of a place and hasn't changed much since I first went there in 1968. The only thing that has changed is that the fisherman no longer go out fishing at night with bright lights attached to the boats to attract the fish. It has a very good diving school there.
