“ An excellent hotel, spacious, clean rooms, pleasant and helpful staff, good location - just a stroll through the pines on a constructed pathway to the Fontanilla Beach. I know the hotel was closing for 3 months a couple of days after we left, but consistently cold and recycled food - on the 'Hot' Buffet - became a joke after 3 days! If they could sort this problem out, I would give it 5 out of 5, the alternative being to stay 'Bed & Breakfast' only, and stick to a 'Continental' type breakfast, as here again all 'Hot' dishes were consistently cold! I suggested a couple of microwave ovens would be most appreciated by guests!
“ Top Tip: We dined one night at the Restaurant next door to the Restaurant Fontanilla, on the beach, sorry can't remember the name. Great meal, popular place, reasonably priced, large portions and HOT! Also good ( and cheap) Chinese in centre of old part of town, in square with large old tower and church, again, with HOT food!

“ I can't fault the hotel, the service was prompt and friendly with most staff at least understanding sufficient English. The food, for a buffet, was good and the salads first rate. My only criticism would be the position of the hotel which did not have a seaview but the beach was within five minutes walk

“ The staff at the hotel were polite and friendly, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, the pool area was lovely (if the pool a little cold!) and it was a great location to town and the beach. The only downside was the lack of parking in the hotel carpark - however, there is plenty of parking on the side streets nearby.
“ Top Tip: El Chuleton restaurant about a five minute walk from the hotel, or La Fontanilla on the beachfront were both fabulous seafood restaurants. For an authentic Iberian dish try La Delicia in the town centre.

“ Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on half board basis. Apartment was spotlessly clean and very modern. Food at hotel was excellent. Only complaint was the noise from neighbouring apartments which spoilt our holiday.

“ Loved the hotel, location was amazing. Stunning views, sunsets etc. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach was just wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic, huge range and very fresh. Rooms were clean, spacious and well air conditioned with new silent units.

“ Very nice accomodation and lay out. Swimming pool lovely but it is a swimming pool not suitable for kids - thank goodness! Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner with plenty of variety including local dishes. Only observation is that rooms were a bit 'echoey' so if you had noisy neighbours the sound travelled - but this was not a problem. The staff were outstanding in every way.
