hotel was lovely, soo was the food,,, we got a bus the 1st day which took us over 4 hours,,and got a taxi bck to airport which was over 200 euros, you either need to hire a car or would be a god idee to put on buss transfers direct.....
apart from that was fantastic......

“ A lovely hotel with excellent staff. The reception staff are particularly helpful and speak excellent English, however the resort is very Spanish and other staff speak little English. The hotel is well built and is not at all noisy between rooms. The buffet breakfast was excellent. We appeared to be the only English guests at the hotel. The other guests were mostly German, although we didn't have a problem with that. Whilst the hotel is fine for older guests, the town itself is quite hilly and I think that some older guests might struggle if they want to go into the town. The hotel does have a kids club but I feel in general that there are other hotels better equipped for children. We will definitely go back to this hotel again. We usually stay at the El Fuerte in Marbella, but found this hotel and resort to be far more relaxing and eating out is probably half the price.

Top Tip:
La Fontanilla restaurant at the end of the road on the beach is excellent. The food and service are top class, and very affordable. 60 euros for 3 courses (fillet steak) and a bottle of wine for 2 people dining. The restaurant is right on the beach and the sunsets are amazing.
There is a constant breeze coming off the Atlantic at this resort which keeps you cool in the heat, but beware of the sun as the breeze masks its intensity. The beach is beautiful, and there are enough waves for surfing but it is not too strong to swim.
If you are driving from Malaga airport, use a map as our sat nav sent us on a difficult cross country route at one point. The drive should take around 2 hours 30 mins. Well worth the drive! Jerez airport is closer if you can get a flight there. I would say this resort is mainly suitable for couples and families. It is not a hen or stag party type resort.

Excellent Hotel, very well looked after. Rooms spacious with balconey & air con. Gardens well maintained with a choice of pools and lounging areas.
Friendly staff, good choice for breakfast.
Lovely beach down the cliff. Not for the egg & chips brigade as no British style pubs or restaurants in sight.
Loved every minute and can't wait to get back. Four star service and well worth the price paid.
