Lepe Mar Hotel

“ We were first put into a room with one double bed, when we had booked a twin room. However reception quickly and without fuss remedied this and soon we then had a very nice twin room. Apart from that slight hiccup the rest of our stay was excellent, relaxing and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a beach holiday. The hotel is right on the beach, which is a huge stretch of sand. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep too. The garage was good and reasonably priced at Euros 10/night. For many years we have toured France, Spain and Portugal by car and would say a garage or secure parking is essential for peace of mind. Finally the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent as was the buffet breakfast. All in all a very enjoyable stay and good value too.

“ We had a fantastic time in this basic standard hotel but was brilliant in that there was no one there! We had all the attention anyone could want. The few people who were around were Spanish so no Brits wrecking our reputation! We went to be 'in Spain' and were delighted to be there.

“ Top Tip: This beach - we had all to ourselves Mon-Fri it is a winter ghost town, at the w/end local people from Huelva came to use the beaches and the town. It was late October 30c and glorious!

“ We had the best welcome at Lepe Mar out of the fifteen hotels we stayed in on our motorbike tour of Spain. The staff were pleasant at all times and the food was basic but good. With a beachfront location and sea view from our balcony it was ideal. Would return.

“ Top Tip: The long walkway from the front of the hotel to Islantilla made exercise bliss with plenty of cafes and bars along the way. The beach goes on for ever and is also clean with plenty of sunloungers.
