“ I read every review that I could find before booking this hotel and thought that it could not be as good as everyone seemed to think. It wasn't - it was better. I dont know whether it was Rota itself or the hotel but I have never relaxed so much on a short break. The town is amazing - old and truely Spanish. The staff at the hotel could not do enough for you. One even parked our car for us.
“ Top Tip: The hotel provded us with beach towels so no need to take with you. We caught the boat over to Cadiz and wished we had gone earlier in the day. The have a red bus tour for 12 euros but we did not have the time.

“ We had an overnight stay in Rota and this hotel was wonderful. We had a room overlooking the sea. The town itself is very Spanish which was a real bonus for us.We arrived when a Carnival was on (Feb 14th - 16th). We had an amazing breakfast,with a wide variety of choice, including Champagne!!! The hotel is right in the town, so everything was within walking distance. A nights parking in the underground car park within the hotel is 9 euros. We would certainly return there and take friends. Thank you Travel Republic for such a good rate.
“ Top Tip: We could have had an evening meal at the hotel as it was quite reasonable.However we found aplace in the town where we had steak ,egg and chips for 5 euros each!!

Very few non germans at the hotel as the hotel was almost completely dominated by TUI cliants from Germany who seemed to have 'special, arrangements i.e. half board and bed turn- down service.All info seemed to be available in spainish and german
Position of hotel excellant and the hotel is very well run although staff not very friendly- maybe the language was an issue.
Rota is a lovely underdeveloped part of coastal spain

“ This was a lovely hotel stayed for a few nights whilst visiting Cadiz. Situated in the new part of town it is right next to the beach and a short walk from the old town. Staff were friendly and breakfast very good. Parking available at the hotel (underground) which we used E10 per day

Completely renovated in 2004, the hotel comprises 3 floors with a total of 300 apartments. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, hire safes and a lift as well as a cafe-bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area. There is a public Internet terminal available for use and those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park and garage facilities. An in-house laundry service rounds off the offerings.
“ We were a bit disappointed in the room/apartment it was a bit shabby not quite up to a four star rating by todays standards, it had obviously been upgraded quite a few years ago and was in need of a bit more TLC.

This hotel is spread over 3 floors and has over 549 rooms, of which 74 are single rooms, 389 are double rooms and 86 are suites. Guests may make use of the spacious foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a games room, a TV room and a conference room with public Internet access. In addition, there is a cosy cafe, bar, a newspaper stand, a small supermarket and 2 air-conditioned restaurants with highchairs for infants. Room, laundry and medical services are further features that can be taken advantage of by guests. The hotel offers a playground and kids' club as well as car parking facilities.
“ Very good hotel, food and service were good. We would happily return. Hotel restaurant Grazelema serving lunchtime meals/tapas etc. was very good and extremely keenly priced particularly for a 'captive' audience.

“ we have been to many hotels in spain but this hotel tops them all, friendly staff, very clean rooms which were a nice size, the restaurand was great with a lot of choices and the food was excellent, the gardens around the hotel were kept to high standard and the beach was great.

“ This is an excellent hotel built in the traditional Spanish style that maintains very high standards. The room is very comfortable and well appointed. Each room on the ground floor has a spacious terrace at the front surrounded by beautiful flowers.
