Seville city centre can be reached within an hour by car and offers a diverse range of shopping and entertainment facilities. There is a public transport stop just 1 km away. Seville Airport is around 125 km from El Rompido and Faro Airport is around 98 km away.The well-furnished 1 and 2 -bedroom apartments feature a bathroom with hairdryer, kitchenette, fridge, living room, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, safe, air conditioning/heating as well as balcony or terrace.This beautiful outdoor complex offers 2 outdoor swimming pools, one of which is a freshwater swimming pool, as well as a children's paddling area and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a sports area with a tennis court and football pitch. Residents in the aparthotel can also enjoy the golf club Golf El Rompido (the nearest golf course is 200 m away). An entertainment programme is also offered to guests.From Seville Airport (125 km): 1. Leave Seville on the N-Ivb. 2. Take exit A-49. 3. Pass through Camas, Toamres, Castilleja de la Cuesta, Gines, Umbrete, Benacazen, Huevar, Chucena and San Juan del Puerto. 4. Leave the A-49 (at exit 99: A-492/Aljaraque), take the A-492 and then take the N-431. 5. Leave the N-431 and take the HV-131 and then the N-4111. 6. Upon arrival in Cartaya, take the HV-4112. 7. At the petrol station and roundabout on the right hand side of the road, take the exit on the left to reach the hotel. From Faro Airport (98 km): 1. Leave Faro on the local road. 2. Take the N2, pass through Conceieao and take the IP1 in the direction of Spain. 3. Pass through Estoi, Santo Estevao and take the N-431. 4. Pass through Lepe and continue in the direction of Cartaya. 5. Leave the N-431, take the HV-1311 and then the HV-4111. 6. At the petrol station on the right hand side and the roundabout, take the exit on the left. 7. Follow the road to reach the hotel.Cots for babies on request.

Stayed in Las Marismas Club apartments and had a lovely holiday playing golf and visiting local beaches.
The apartments were spacious and had a bathroom and a shower room both with basin and toilet.Cutlery and crockery are provided for 6 people, we managed to seat 6 at the dining table provided. Cooking facilities were ok but minimal,a two plate electric hob and a combi microwave oven, we chose to eat in the club buffet restaurant three evenings. There was a good choice of salads and hot food, soup and dessert including ice cream. Wine, lager and sodas were 'on tap' and there was a separate grill area for fresh grilled meat or fish. All of this for 15 Euros per adult and 10 Euros for the children. We felt it was of a good standard and well worth the money. They also serve a breakfast and buffet lunch for apartment guests, no booking required.
We did not use the kids club or the bars but could see that both were very popular.
For us the location of the complex was it's attraction being close to the Donana natural park and Marisma Rio Peidras and San Miguel, 10 minutes walk from the hotel and fantastic bird watching.

Top Tip:
A car is essential.
Neuvo Portil to Punta Umbria miles of sandy beach, plenty of parking and dunes for sheltering from the wind. Nearer to Punta Umbria the beaches have cafes and life guards in the summer.
Take the ferry from El Rompido to Flecha El Rompido only 4Euros but again a long sandy beach. No facilities though so go prepared. The ferries are frequent in the summer months.

Near the beach - Not if you are walking. However, there is a free mini-train which runs regularly to the boat which will take you to the beach. Maybe, 500m walk.
Near restaurantes/entertainment. There is a great restaurante on site, and the animacion team provide entertainment throughout the day for all ages. Ranging from volleyball, aquagym, aerobics, football, mini-club etc, and their evening shows which were very well performed. Outside entertainment/restaurantes are about 1 mile away, if you walk through the reserve, further if you stick to the road. We really enjoyed our stay, and would go again. We were the only British people there, the other holiday makers were mainly French and Spanish. So great for brushing up on your language skills. Great selection of food in the restaurant, plus being fully inclusive meant the kids could get snacks and drinks when they wanted.
“ Top Tip: Worth hiring a car. Punto Umbria is worth a visit and the 18km beach means you can find plenty of space! Huelva is also worth exploring, lots of History. The first official Spanish football team was founded there by the British miners working at Rio Tinto. Muelles de las Carabeles was also worth visiting.

“ We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, the hotel was of a good standard , cleaned daily. The food was good albeit a bit repetitive by the end of the week (as with any other all inclusive I have experienced) and the local wine and beer was also good. There are some fabulous big long stretches of beach nearby but you do need transport to get there.

“ The hotel had the wrong details and attempted to charge for breakfast every day although the booking was for B&B. The service was poor and out of season the facilities were not all up and running. The beds are uncomfortable but the apartments are spacious.

“ Very spacious apartment, well equipped. Furniture and walls were a bit tatty and could do with an upgrade, as could corridors, lifts etc. Gardens and views very good and town of El Rompido is lovely.
“ Top Tip: Best restaurant, Las Brisas in El Rompido. Family run, excellent service and food is fresh and great quality.
