Isla Cristina Palace Hotel and Spa

“ A five star hotel lovely rooms roomy and clean all with sea view, we could see the sea but not the beach as there was a canopy of trees between hotel and beach. Lovely pool, no need to book sunlounger plenty available in high season. Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner, especially Japenese chef preparing suchi most evenings. Staff were very friendly and could speak some English but appreciated our attemps when we tried o speak some Spanish! Evening walks along a path on front was very nice but local area is not developed and has held on to its Spanish character. Would book half board rather than bed and breakfast as we didn't come across that many resteraunts. Bar prices were rather pricey but to be expected in a 5 star hotel.
Flew to Faro and hired car and drove to hotel ,also drove to Seville ond day- a beautiful city and well worth the drive. Came home feeling relaxed having had lots of good food and plenty of sunshine.

“ I was very impressed with all aspects of my stay at the Isla Cristina from been served champers on arrival to the very high standard of food in the restaurant. the standard of cleaniness in all areas of the hotel is of a very high standard and I was particularly impressed by the reception staff who greeted me by name on the second day of my stay, how impressive was that as I was one of the many hundred guests staying in the hotel. An excellent hotel and I will be reccomending it to all my friends and hope to go back sometime in the near furture.
