This beach hotel, renovated in 2006, has 4 floors and a total of 175 rooms, of which 7 are junior suites with terrace and sea views, 60 are doubles with terrace and front sea views, 40 are doubles with a terrace and side sea views, 60 are doubles without a terrace and 8 are single rooms without a terrace. It offers a 24-hour reception desk, lifts, Mare nostrum restaurant with a buffet style, bar/cafe with a terrace and sea views, WiFi Internet area, meeting rooms (local charge), laundry service (added fee) and covered car park (local charge and limited availability). For those who come for business purposes, the hotel offers a private business floor.This hotel is situated right by Gandia beach and only a 5-minute walk from the sporting harbour and the commercial and entertainment area, where guests will find many bars, restaurants and shops.The rooms come equipped with a bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning and heating, a TV with international channels, minibar (fees apply), direct dial telephone and safe.The hotel features a lagoon-style swimming pool, with a 2000 me terrace and garden, sun loungers and parasols as well as a children's section and Jacuzzi. During the winter months a heated pool is also available. “ Although in a non english speaking town and that we spoke no spanish, we have a great time. Hotel and facilities were lovely and breakfast great. The beach is fabulous and clean, lots of play grounds on the beach too and the water is shallow. Hire a car and visit some of the beaches further up for a change they are also great. Definately a relaxing holiday, did not see any clubs open though went out of season and would not have gone as have 2 kiddies.

“ Top Tip: Gandia Playa was literally across the road..........the hotel room gave you a sense of staying on the beach, it was fantastic. This is the 3rd time we have booked through travel republic and will continue to do so in the future

the hotel is rated as a four star, but you do not get the 4 star treatment neither the entertainment in the evening, as there was no waiter/ess service around the pool or outside seating areas unless you went to the bar and asked or told them to come and take the order/s
The rooms we see and had were twin which move apart during the nite, lovely and clean with good food and a lovely selection, a small swimming pool and uncomfortable sun beds but very close to the beach. cost of 2 sun beds and a umbrella is 10euro's 10 cent.
extra cost of 97 euros for a room with a view over looking the beach
9 euros per nite for on site parking

pass- most people walked along the coast each day and took cover around 13:00hrs and re-appeared around 16:30hrs
not alot of nite life in the area

room was spacious with all facilities, could do with fridge if hot. breakfast was more than adequate(lay off pastry if yr dieting!!) close to beach and nice pool area.
pre dominately spanish clietele so go with friends and family or learn spanish.
“ Top Tip: lots of choice for meals but little emtertainment out side of hotel and that catered for spanish.didn't get to look around gandia but if have time check out valencia. only an hour by train about 9euros return.very picturesque city and qite compact
