Although the apartments are excellent you do need a car to get anywhere at all, either for food shopping or even visiting a bar.

It was a very nice hotel, cheap and cheerful and near the beach. My only concern was my child being too close to the balcony but once I explained the dangers to him, he stayed well away, besides that we had no difficulties. The staff were really friendly and advised us of amenities within the locality.

Top Tip: There is a really cute restaurant around 5 minutes driving distance from the hotel, they offered all types of meals and the owner was very friendly and helpful, food was great quality and cheap too. Unfortunately i dont remeber the name but it was on the main road near the beach, about two shops down from the Aldi.

Check-in date:

Apartment very clean & well equipped. Built on a cliff between Nerja & Torrox so having a car is essential. Underground car parking which is 3€ a day or you can park free outside but then you need to walk a distance to get to a lift - not good when it's hot! Plenty of restaurants in both resorts but parking a problem in Nerja as the main large car park used by tourists is no longer free. The reception is open 10-7 with a small shop & there is a number to phone outside of these times but unless you speak fluent Spanish - good luck as I found out when I tried to report the lift breaking down! A number of the apartments are privately owned as this was due to be a large golf resort until the recession hit so there were a large number not in use when we visited in July. All in all we were very satisfied with the apartment & would definitely stay there again. But please management can you provide some English channels on the TV!

Check-in date:

Beautiful modern clean apartments 40 minutes drive from Malaga airport and 5 minutes drive from supermarkets, beaches and small towns of Torrox Costa and Nerja. Car is essential and only the first night parking in the underground space is free then you pay a small 3euros each day. Apartments have 2 pools with loungers and umbrellas set in lovely gardens and they have fresh bread each day available in the small shop at reception so if you like quiet days spent around the pool - you'll love it here! Plenty of restuarants and nice 'proms' at Torrox and Nerja to wander along at night and some stalls selling crafts and beach goods. We also drove to the caves (good for an afternoon outing) Frigliana (remember it 'sleeps' all afternoon! - better to go in the cool of the evening) and the waterpark (expensive but a good day out) and shopping malls along at Malaga, so plenty to do for 2 weeks in the sun of Spain.

Top Tip: Beaches are pebbley so beach shoes a must. Fresh fish grilled on the beach or paella for lunch - remember the Spanish retire to eat 'en-mass' at 1400 so get in before them to beat the busy times!
Remember these are not 'hotel' only apartments and take hairdryer and toiletries, toilet rolls, bin bags, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. unless you don't mind shopping for them in the supermarkets! for some reason we had no cereal bowls in our apartment and had to use the salad bowls!but apart from that small hitch it was well kitted out and top spec.

Great

Check-in date:

This hotel is very clean and has superb facilities for the cost. The pool is reasonably large and quiet. As the hotel is mainly resident owned, it lacks a bar and is thus very quiet. A walk of 500 metres to the nearest bar/restaurant or a taxi fee of 6 euros to Torrox Costa hich has numerous bars etc.

Top Tip: Rent a car
Try the Brazillian restaurants in Torrox Costa or the Indian. Very Good value.
