The reception and breakfast dining staff were very efficient and friendly. The pool is very Nell maintained. Heating should be available in May. There are steep inclines from the beach to the road and then from the road to the hotel and there could be a problem for older or disabled folk.

We normally stay in a four star hotel in Benalmadena but it was my husbands sixty birthday and we were travelling at short notice for a short stay of four days the negative comments were off puting and I was a bit apprehensive but the staff were very helpful and pleasant the food was fantastic and a good selection at breakfast and dinner the hotel has a happy hour on certain days from six to seven if you are going to this hotel request a high floor and a refurbished room this was our request and we were not disappointed room could have been more spacious Bbut for four days we were hardly in it only to sleep the beds were very comfortable as well this hotel is in a great location close to the marina and close to the market and Paloma park the hill is not as bad as it is made out to be unless you have severe walking difficulties there is a one euro bar at the top of the hill if you keep on walking up it is in a square on the right hand side would definitely stay here again but not in the summer unless you have kids plenty of life about this hotel and the entertainment is good but the problem is finding a seat so go early

Top Tip: The one euro bar

Nice reception staff, very helpful. Nice entertainment guys, full of energy and very cheery and they all love the kids!
Rooms are very basic, small and the beds are bad. I upgraded to a double/twin room with a balcony. When I got there, all rooms have a balcony. Both beds in my room were brick hard. I'm not exaggerating either. I'm 6ft and 12 stone and they were hard. My mum and dad were in the room next to me and their beds were a bit better. Turns out I had kids beds. I swapped rooms with one of the kids with us so I got an adult bed and it was a little bit better. We could here the water passing down the side of the room every time someone flushed the toilet or had a shower.
The rooms were cleaned every day. Cleaning staff were nice. All staff we met were lovely. The food was good. A good variety and mainly healthy too with lots of fresh fruit and veg.
Night time entertainment was great for the kids and the entertainers were great after the kids stuff finished.
All inclusive is great value.

Top Tip: TENNIS? The Triton hotel is about a 3 min walk. Down the hill to the traffic lights and turn right. Walk for a min and it's on the right hand side. It's massive. Tennis for us was 5 Euros with all our own equipment with a 5 Euro deposit. They were not strict with times for us. We went over our time by 40 mins and they were fine.

There is a market on a Friday about a 30 min walk from the hotel. If you walk it you will walk through the main town and shopping area which is massive and modern.

Lovely hotel unfortunately at the top of a hill locally called cardiac hill unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties built in 3 blocks meant long walks to the dinning room which did have very good selection of food on the buffet. It did cater for large groups for stag and hen parties who spent all day drinking around the pool cursing and swearing with contiuous use of the F word with no consideration for small children or ladies present.

Top Tip: Lizzies Lounge Bar next to the hotel catering for people wanting a quiet drink with quizzes every night open 8pm-2am
