Los Patos Hotel

“ not enough choice of food. surounding apartments to close to hotel. lack of facilities for young children,

“ Have been to Los Patos now for the last 4/5 years always in October, and have always had a pleasant stay. However, for the past two years the hotel has looked very tired the lounge furniture quite dismal could do with upholstering - the bedrooms also could do with a lick of paint on all the walls - the entertainment was very poor this time must admit have seen most of the acts before(or twice/3times) i.e. owls, parrots. Also, the food in the evening not up to their usual standard.

All in all don,t know if I would go again next year - looking at trying Las Arenas maybe.

“ hotel and grounds average for four star food reasonable but not warm enough on occasions.rooms very good cleaned on daily basis.our return flight was not to late evening but unfortunately the hotel did not provide a courtesy room to allow guests to shower ;unusual for four star facility;also disapponting there were no pool towels available for hire at hotel.

“ Lovely comfortable hotel. Beautiful grounds. Two great outdoor pools - one covered. Good range of food in the restaurant. We stayed halfboard and you could either have lunch or dinner or a picnic - a great facility. Although we arrived too late for dinner on the first night, we had lunch on the day of our departure. Helpful staff. Loved the duckpool and ducks = los patos! Short distance to the sea and beach area- downhill but the slight hill back to the hotel would pose problems for older people and parents with pushchairs. Free Wi-Fi in the foyer - pity it is not extended to the rooms.

“ Top Tip: Easy public transport to the hotel - take train from airport to Torremolinos - about 10 minutes. Go up the walkway and cross the main road. Take the bus marked Fuengirola. Ask the driver to tell you when you are at Hotel Los Patos. Journey time about 15 minutes.
