Sunset Beach Club is located in Benalmadena Costa a town of the Costa del Sol renowned for its excellent beaches and just 20 km from Malaga airport. Its perfect location allows easy access to the different attractions along the Coast. These include golf courses, the Puerto Marina harbour, the Tivoli World amusement park, the Torrequebrada Casino, as well as the liveliness of its streets and charming squares where you will find a wide range of bars and restaurants.
The Oasis restaurant is situated on the first floor and offers breakfast buffet as well as a range of snacks and also an a la carte national and international menu. There is also the swimming pool bar, open seasonally, located on the pool terrace offering snacks. The Panorama Bar offers cocktails with magnificent views over the sea, live piano music and a TV. The Moonlight Bar is the evening entertainment area with a variety of shows most nights. There are some children's clubs which operate seasonally with the mini club for 0 - 5 year olds (parental supervision required), Pirates club for 6 - 12 years and Teenagers Club for 13-19 years. The Sunset Beach Club has it's own Golf department that will inform and help you with the Tee times at the different courses on the Costa del Sol.

“ This hotel was as I expected for the price. The rooms are a little on the tired side and the furnishings a little shabby but clean and presentable. The breakfast was limited and cold and although we had paid for it we chose to forgo it to eat elsewhere. We only went for a weekend break and hence spent very little time in the hotel. We chose to take a 30 minute walk down to the harbour where the surroundings were more pleasant, as at the end of Benalmadena near the hotel the area is very shabby with mostly English and Irish bars, but it depends what you like. We prefer to experience local cuisine in a quiet tapas bar than watch football or karaoke. You will pay more for drinks at the harbour but there are some great restaurants and we went on a boat trip for 15 Euros which was lovely.

“ Very nice rooms with everything you need we had 2 apartment rooms so plenty of space and lovely views. The staff were really good and helpfull. Pool was really noisy but the beach was so close it didn't matter. The only downside was although lots of restaurants nearby we couldn't find any live music pubs only kareoke and the hotel entertainment was a bit family oriented. Would definitely go again a great break and a good price and close to the airport.

“ Sunset Beach was a very good hotel. It is immaculately clean, very friendly, excellent food, breakfast and in the restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and approachable. I liked the idea in the apartment that the kitchen was separate from the lounge area. Fantastic storage cupboard, soft furnishings were modern. Kitchen well stocked for self catering (although we only used the coffee cups). The pool area is well maintained and there is a quiet area for adults who do not have children with them. A great small play park is by the pool (looked good but didnt actualy use it). Would highly recommend it. Only downside is that it is a fair distance from the marina - although you are able to walk along the prom to the marina - a pleasant stroll of about 25 mins. Seaview all the way and some fantastic restaurants on the beach to choose from. Was impressed with the hotel policy that no sun beds can be reserved before 10am. Every bed had a notice on it that towels would be removed. Excellent idea.
“ Top Tip: Be prepared to pay taxi fare to reach the marina of an evening (especially in high heels) too far to walk when you are limited for time, lovely stroll in the day time.
