“ Very effecient and helpful staff. Superbly located for train station to Fuengirola and Malaga and major Costa del Sol locations: fares are very good and you can use the line directly to and from the airport at Malaga. There was only one bar open at the foot of the hill when we went because it was Wintertime and the hill is steep coming back but it was enough for us: the waitress there was very accommodating and friendly. A reastaurant was about to open just as we left and there were others which surely open in season; one with a direct view of the sea which would be great if open. Two rocky coves down there were very pretty but not suitable for swimming or beach activities but 5 minutes from the hotel with lovely views across the ocean. Two supermarkets were open when we were there and a third - a big Kwiksave being prepared for opening so quite enough resources availble for self-catering. The apartments had enough equipment to cope with cooking, plenty of crockery, cutlery and pans and facilities were very clean and lots of hot water. There was tv and microwave. It was very peaceful when we were there and our ground floor terrace faced the pool. Maybe in the height of season this would be a problem with privacy and noise and the walls are thin. Thank goodness we didn't have noisy neighbours and everything for us was fine. I would go back there definitely. We really enjoyed our stay.

“ Top Tip: The railway line is great for getting about. Get a return (2 euros) to Fuengirola where the bars and restaurants are more numerous and the beach is accessed on the flat, take a bus from there to Mijas for 1.40 euros single for a bit of an expedition - on Wednesdays at noon there is free flamenco in season and the village is very pretty. There is also a ferry from the harbour there to Benalmadena beach on Tuesdays at 10.30am if the sea is calm. Go to Malaga (3 euros+) to enjoy the city life and see the views from the fortress or the Picasso museum, or pop to Benelmadena or Torremolinos for a change or just sit and relax in the sunshine of the pool area at the hotel: all very nice and relaxing

“ A real Spanish Hotel that delivers superb hospitality. The rooms are well equipped and well maintained, New sheets & towels every 3 days and a staff that go the extra every time to ensure customer satisfaction. I really enjoyed my 16 days, the location of this hotel is perfect for the railways and to explore the Costa de Sol. Beautiful small secluded beaches within walking distance of the hotel. Great hills side to explore all that is needed is a good pair of shoes - with some awesome views to be found. I will return that is a definite, I really recommend it to anyone looking for a quite resort with friendly people and who have an active lifestyle.

“ Top Tip: Jump on the train to Benalmadena -Arroyo del Miel (1 stop down the line just 6 minutes, 3 trains and hour in each direction) at the other end of the main street brilliant large supermarket great selection and good prices really cuts the cost of your holiday. Take the train from the airport to the hotel too - so easy just 1 Euro 40 !!
