“ We stayed in a self catering apartment so didnt use all the hotel facilities, we were very pleased with the service from all the staff,in our apartment every day the towels were changed and it was cleaned. The hill up to the hotel is steep so may not be suitable for everyone.

“ I thought the Hotel provided excellent overall facilities and staff were friendly and helpful. We went S/C and only had dinner in the hotel once but it was very good. The room was clean, tidy and adequetly equipped. Just down a short path was a really cheap supermarket which helped with the budget and if you shopped around the bars, a pint of beer could be as low as 1.50 euro. The position of the hotel was elevated but not far but steep whichever way. My only critisism were the steps into the main pool which were rickety and far too short. I have had a hip replacement and whilst I could get in the pool, I could not get my legs high enough for the first rung on 2sets of steps, eventually I found the kiddies end was a little shallower and I could get out. Otherwise very good.
“ Top Tip: Horizon Cafe Bar - cheap lunchtime drinks. Orient Palace 2, good Chinese/Thai/Japanese restaurant.

“ Excellent Hotel very clean and tidy, room is basic but cleaned on a daily basis. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities that are advertised are accurate and good. Situated within easy walking distance of the front and promenade. Beware of the steep hill and use the garage entrance. We would recommend this hotel and will be returning.
“ Top Tip: Only a five minute walk from the promenade and excellent bars and restaurants. The Horizon situated next to McDonalds run by Jason and Dianne is excellent value with very friendly staff
