“ Atalaya Park is beginning to show its age. It could do with a makeover but still offers good value for money. The staff seem to remain year on year and the buffet restaraunt is excellent.
“ Top Tip: Atalaya Park is situated midway between Mabella and Estapona which are both have very beaches and nightlife.

“ This is a good hotel and very safe for families with kids. We stayed in the main hotel and had read reviews that lead us to believe that we had made a grave mistake booking this hotel.....but ...The food was good, though choice was limited. We stayed all inclusive, so local beer, spirts and wines were included. I had beer and red wine both of which were very good. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was clean and tidy. The animation team were friendly and always made us feel welcome. There were sports and games for the adults as well as the children. Overall I enjoyed staying at this hotel, however note that there is no shops/town to walk into and that if you do not have a car it will cost a bit in taxis. None of those things mattered to me. Reception and bar staff were friendly and I will go back to this hotel.
“
Top Tip:
Go all inclusive as drinks are costly otherwise
Get hire car so that you can get about

“ We are a family with two young boys of 10 and 8 and we have stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the past 12 years and I feel that I am able to give a good overall view of the hotel and location. On the minus side the hotel is a little bit remote. If you are the type of person who likes to walk into a centre and visit different bars and restaurants the hotel is not for you. The beds are quite hard and the rooms are a little dated when compared to other hotels with a 4 star rating. The hotel sits right on the beach which is fine if you do not want to go into the water as it is quite rocky at the waters edge. On the plus side the grounds are quite beautifully maintained with 2 main outdoor swimming pools and a toddlers pool. There is also a nice indoor pool with sauna and steam room. There is a good air conditioned gym and 9 tennis courts. I have always found the staff at the front desk to be pleasant and helpful. The bar staff are generally fine but the floor waiting staff I found could be a bit slow and I think that it is often better to get your own drinks. Again the food is fine with buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a kids club which runs seven days a week which is well run. There is always some type of activity on during the day for the adults from football ,waterpolo, rifle shooting and water arobic sessions in the mornings. Again at night there is a mini disco for the smaller kids with entertainment for the adults following the mini disco. This entertainment ranges from outside professional acts appearing at the hotel to the hotels own entertainment team putting on a show. Drinks can be quite expensive so my tip for anyone considering going there is to go all inclusive. When you check out the price of the all inclusive package it really does give you the best value. All inclusive means all food at the dining room and all drinks, it does not include ice creams and crisps Everything said we will be back again later this year. There is a great mix of ages and nationalities who frequent this hotel. I would recommend that you give this hotel a try
“
Top Tip:
Go all inclusive it represents the best value.
If you go allinclusive the waiters do not get your drinks. It is usually quicker to get your own drinks anyway

“ Excellent hotel. Services and amenities are brilliant. Staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of variety food. Ideal for family with children. Read the term "All inclusive" carefully. We nearly got it wrong. It means "drink and half board"
