“ We were looking for a cheap hotel in Costa del Sol region and the 'Las Chapas Hotel' is exectly what we were looking for. It must have been built in the 80's but it was not an issue for us. Rooms and the public areas were clean. Free Wifi in the lobby. We decided to go for 'half board' and it was a very good choice as food was very good in terms of value for money. The variety is ok so everybody can find something suitable.

“ This hotel suited what we were looking for a base to travel around, would not had wanted to stay a whole week at just the hotel. Very dated, but clean, staff very friendly and helpful, although their English was very limited. Very limited food choice.
“ Top Tip: Fabulous beach about 900 metres away, also some good pubs and restaurants at a complex about 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

For what we paid for 10 days the hotel was good. Excellent bus service. The food was terriible,one evening by 8.30 they had very little food left. When we complained the response was just sorry.
Staff i felt were extremly rude.
We were told the hotel was closing for refurbishment. I think it is a very clean well presented hotel with lots to offer. Just need to get the staff sorted.
