The hotel was built in 1973 and completely renovated in 1999. It offers a total of 110 guestrooms spread over 9 floors, of which 5 are singles, 85 doubles and 20 are suites. Guests arrive in a large lobby with 2 lifts, and there is a reception staffed around the clock. Facilities include a safe, currency exchange desk, games room, TV room and conference room. There is also a cosy hotel bar, pub and an air-conditioned e la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for younger guests. Room and laundry services are at guests' disposal. Guests may make use of the hotel parking facilities.This attractive hotel offers stunning views over sandy La Caletilla Beach. From the hotel, guests may take in the beautiful, panoramic views out over the sea. Nerja's old town with its quaint lanes and shops is just a stone's throw away. The public transport network is located just 300 m from the hotel and Melaga Airport is 65 km from the hotel.The comfortable rooms are equipped with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. They are also equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, minibar (for an additional fee), a fridge, air conditioning, central heating and a safe as standard.The hotel offers a heated swimming-pool in winter with deckchairs and parasols, a pool bar and a ping-pong table. First class hotel with first class staff. Exceptionally well placed for both the beaches and restaurants/cafe quarter. Also extra little bonuses this time with free sunbeds on the beach and free safety deposit box which were previously charged. Rooms with Balcony and sea view are of an exceptionally high standard and the daily maid service is very thorough.
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel after staying in several different hotels and apartments over the last several holidays in the resort.
“ Top Tip: If you have a chance for a special restaurant meal out chose to go to Restaurant 34. The food is second to none, and if you ask to sit at the terrace the views are spectacular.

“ Great views of the sea and coast. Tables near the window a must for breakfast. Car parking at the hotel is "novel". System of driving into and through the public town centre car park is ununusal!

“ Probably the best Hotel we have ever stayed in, can't fault it on any level.

Top Tip:
Nerja is a wonderfull place, feel easy to dine in any restaurant, drink in any bar, you will find each one distinctive, clean and a pleasure to visit. The shops are fabulous and you can buy many original items and the food is good in the restaurants.
The real pleasure of Nerja is just wandering at leisure or people watching in the many coffee bars.

“ excellently positioned for beaches, restaurants, bars, and shops. Room had no balcony/patio and the window looked out onto the back of the hotel, with no view at all which I've never been used to, however, it had everything we required and as we don't tend to spent much time in our room, a view was not necessary. In any event just go to front of building and the views are beautiful. Breakfast was buffet style and had plenty to chose from and evening meal was waiter service (apart from one night). I was not aware when I booked that it was waiter service but with approx four choices for each course there was something for most people. I'm not a total veggi, but I don't eat meat so only had a choice of the one fish dish on the menu, unsure what a total vegetarian would have done. Staff were pleasant and hotel immaculately clean. We did not use the pool or the sun beds as the April weather was not brilliant and that side of the hotel got the wind so we chose the beach that was sheltered from the wind. i would imagine in the summer months it could be a sun trap
“ Top Tip: Organised trips can be expensive. If you want to be adventurous go to the bus station and get the local bus to your destination. We got the local bus to Granada to visit Alambra Palace at half the price and allowed you to see some of the other resorts on the way. Took approximately two hours.
