The Parador is located on a cliff neighbouring the sea. It is an ideal setting for enjoying the many beautiful natural spots in the area, the coast and the beach which can be reached by means of using an original lift. The entrance to the building has a splendid garden where exotic flowers bloom among the orange trees. The lush green colour of the vegetation contrasts with the blue of the swimming pool and the black and white pebbles laid in checker board fashion in the courtyards.
The sunken lounge and dining room are separated by an open sided buffet where the local painted pottery is on display. The Parador restaurant specialises in typical local dishes.

The hotel is in a good position with stunning views if you have a sea-view.It was worth paying the extra, we were on the 3rd floor.
Rooms are nice but not what you expect from a 4 star.The bathroom was big but dated and needs modernisation.
The hotel is spotless and rooms always kept immaculate
It is set in beautiful well manicured grounds with plenty of sun beds. Even though the pool wasn't open it was cleaned every day.
Very disappointed no iron or tea making facilities in the room. ( Never been to a four star that doesnt have these things ) When I asked for an iron they told me they did a laundry service.
Breakfast very good.
No charge for the car to be parked there not like some hotels in Nerja we had looked at.
We enjoyed our stay and staff were pleasant and helpful
Also for the sports fans They have a large screen in the TV room

Top Tip:
Go and have a meal at Maria Bonita's? It was the busiest restaurant in Nerja whilst we were there.Its on the Plaza Fabrica de Los Cangrejos. Worth the walk.
For a cheap Pizza go to Little Italy on the Carabeo.

“ Everything I expected from a Parador - even one not in a historic building. Staff were exceptionally friendly and we were lucky enough to get an upgraded room with the most spectacular view over Burriana Beach and hotel gardens.
“ Top Tip: Downloaded 3 Nerja tapas trails and followed one. Couldn't believe what good value they were and took us to interesting Spanish bars we would never have found ourself.
