The hotel was built in 1960 and completely renovated in 1992. The main building has a total of 2 floors and the annexe block also offers 2 floors. It offers a total of 620 guestrooms, of which 311 are doubles. Guests are offered a beautiful large garden and pool area with a mobile sun terrace, a substantial lobby with lifts, a 24-hour reception, a games room and TV room, a cosy bar and an excellent restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. In addition, the hotel has a bicycle hire service and a children's play area.This modern hotel lies in an ideal location, just 750 metres from the town centre of San Pedro de Alcentara and even closer to a long sandy beach. It has a regular bus service to San Perdo de Alcentara and Marbella, which lies 8 km away. From there guests will find an abundance of shops and entertainment venues. The centre of Puerto Banus is around 2 km away.The modern and comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a telephone, satellite/ cable TV, central heating and their own safe.The hotel has 3 swimming pool with a children's area, a snack bar, sun loungers and parasols. Guests may also take advantage of the solarium and offers such as tennis, table tennis, archery, billiards/ snooker and bowling, all for an additional fee. In addition, guests may enjoy the extensive and international entertainment programme on offer.
Please note that there is a free shuttle bus operating three times a day from the hotel to Puerto Banus available for all the guests.

The hotel was OK, friendly staff. It was extremely difficult to get taxi to the port of an evening, we seemed to be waiting for hours before taxi's arrived.
Wasn't too much variation with choice of food!!!
OK for a lads weekend.

“ We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, although a bit in the middle of nowhere, the hotel itself was great, the facilities could not be faulted, the food was great and the staff efficient and friendly.

“ The Hotel itself is very pretty, typically Spanish, no high rise, built round several courtyards, the flowers are stunning, very bright and cheerful. Its in a residential area, nothing much around. You can walk into Puerto Banus - although the hotel does run a bus twice a day. The beach is 10 minute walk away, its a shingle beach and quite stony to get into the water. The drink flows if you are all inclusive - a nice outside bar. The hotel is very clean, especially the outside areas, our room was basic but clean, unfortunately the food lets it down. On saying that there is plenty of it, and you can find something you can eat - just nothing very exciting. It also gets a bit repetitive if you are there for any length of time. Overall a decent clean hotel.

“ NOT A LOT AROUND THE HOTEL BUT ON AI YOU DO SEEM TO STAY AROUND THE HOTEL. A SMALL SHOP CLOSE BY WHICH SOLD YOUR ENGLISH NEWSPAPERS CIGS AND YOUR GENERAL LITTLE STORE. VERY GOOD SHOWERS ALWAYS HOT WATER, VERY CLEAN IN ALL AREAS AND WAS ALWAYS HOSING DOWN AND CLEANING. FOOD COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT HOTTER BUT DID IMPROVE AS THE TIME WENT ON AFTER COMMENTING ON A QUESTIONAIRE. FOOD GOOD ALWAYS SOMETHING TO EAT AND A SNACK BAR WAS OPEN WHEN THE RESTAURANTE WAS CLOSED. DRINKS VERY GOOD AND OPEN UNTIL 12PM!! LOVED THE PLACE YOU FELT YOU WERE IN A SMALL SQUARE AND NOT IN A HOTEL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT LOVED IT AND ALWAYS SUN BEDS!!

Staff extremely helpful throughout the hotel from reception to cleaners to waiters.
Good selection of food and drink.
Room and exterior of hotel cleaned to very high standard.
Quiet areas and busy areas so guests could choose their type of holiday.
Entertainment within walking distance is limited but nearest town is only about two miles away.
Would suggest hotel do not take Hen and Stag parties as majority of guests are older people or families ( would think families increase in school holiday period). There were about five of these parties and hotel took on security guard which all visitors on return visits had never seen previously. Parties only caused disturbance one day, I assume due to major incident which occurred. (No disturbance to other guests as during night and no evidence in morning other than very subdued mood of concerned parties)
“ Top Tip: Gibralta Rock trip, not to be missed. Buy from Bar Berlin beside hotel owner speakes very good English and is very helpful.
