I felt that the Hotel should be described as 'Pukkah' as it put me in mind of an 'old colonial' place in India during the British Raj. Very plush heavy furniture indeed, we were first given a room with a four poster bed felt a little spooky and anyway we had requested superior twin bedded room. Second room not a twin either but a king sized bed so we accepted. It was a hard mattress but by then we were in and decided to 'lump it', pardon the pun. Sorry but you did ask. Oh and no facilities in the room for tea or coffee, my grand daughter very kindly went to the bar each night to bring a small jug of boiled water so I could have a hot drink as there was no tea or coffee with the evening meal.
The Spanish Flamenco trio on Wednesday evening were excellent, very professional and entertaining, actually the most enjoyable couple of hours of the week.
The staff were friendly and helpful but the Manager was quite exceptional, he seemed to be on duty day and night and was always most kind, a very likeable young man.

“ Weve had a fantastic 4 days at this hotel. Our room was very big and clean with lots of facilities including a fridge and ITV1, we were well impressed. The areas around the swimming pool were beautiful, lovely plants and birds singing. I can honestly say I have never been to a hotel where all the staff are so friendly and really helpful. I would definately stay there again and not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
“ Top Tip: The sun loungers at puerto banus beach are 15 euros each and the drinks at the beach bar very expensive, if you have a car it is cheaper to drive to cabopino beach, even with the cost of the extra petrol!!
