“ The hotel is in a very good position, close to the Torremelinos Train staion (2 minutes walk), near the gay scene and is surrounded by shops and restaurants. the beach although not "close" is not far away and is easily accessible, using the lift.
“
Top Tip:
Most restaurants we eat in were good or very good. We had one bad experience at Los Pampas though, many things on the menu were unavailable and meat portions were small and our table was dirty -we should have left when noticing that.
Get train to Torremelinos from airport, every 20 minutes, journey is only 12 minutes and May 2012 price was 1 euro 60c for a single.

“ BEING ONLY 200 YARDS FROM THE STATION WE USED THIS HOTEL AS A CHEAP OVERNIGHT STAY. WOULD NOT WANT TO STAY FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE OF NIGHTS BUT THE HOTEL IS GOOD VALUE. LOTS OF PLACES TO EAT AND DRINK THE HOTEL IS VERY CENTRAL.

“ Didnt like why everytime you went for something to eat you had to show your card, also the food was very repetitive. Apart from that the hotel and room was very clean and the staff nice. They just have to brush up on there food.

this has been the third time i have stayed at the kristal and have found it to be
clean and the staff are very pleasant.
it is a perfect location being off the main plaza to the shops and restaurants and
for the train station which is only 3 minutes away. if u want to go to the beach
then its a short walk to the lift or if your able bodied to take the pleasant walk.
my only criticism of it would be the breakfast which is continental and very
boring therefore it wouldn't take much to have scrambled egg or something hot
served because eating the same continental food can be depressing.

Top Tip:
as im not a great drinker but prefer the atmosphere i tended to go to the
spanish pubs dotted all over the place, not only is it much cheaper but they
keep on serving free tapas with your drink.

Well what can i say about this hotel, it's certainly NOT a 3* should be 2*, staff are helpful. food isn't so good, only 1 kind of ham, not enough chess for everybody, single beds are quite small and noisy, very little choice in the snack bar. The room was small and in the room when we open the door was bad smell, like dump, the wall are very thin and is very noisy inside. the hotel dosn't have a swimming pool.
I will NOT be booking that hotel again.
I always gooing to 3* hotel and this one was terrible
