“ We found the hotel staff very helpul, the gardens were beautiful, clean pool areas, the downside was our superior room, (221) the poolview was very much obstructed by overgrown trees in front of the balcony. Although we got clean towels every day, the floor wasn't always swept, and never mopped during our stay, the balcony was never swept at all and the room was rather dusty. I don't think this was a general problem at the hotel, as we witnessed other cleaners sweeping and mopping floors on a daily basis, I think it was more of our cleaner not bothering to do a proper job. The furniture was a bit dated, beds comfy enough. The food in the restaurant was plentiful but rather boring, also lacked in descriptions of what it was and could be a bit on the cold side. Quiet hotel as mainly full of older guests, evening entertainment was also to cater for the older clientelle ( 60+ ) . We did fill out one of the hotel suggestion forms prior to leaving, and informed reception of the cleaning issues during our stay.
