“ First time at the Beach Club and really enjoyed our stay. Room was excellent with wonderful sea view. Food was plentiful and of a reasonable standard, although vegetables were not always hot. Bar service excellent and drink quality for an all inclusive hotel was good. Because the location is a good way out of the Centre of Torremolinos we stayed in the hotel for the Evenings. The staff worked hard keeping guests entertained and some of the Acts were very good. Pool Area was good but because of time of year pools were too cold The indoor pool was OK but too small to swim and generally full of children. The Spanish tend to come for a weekend Friday to Sunday and noise levels in the Restaurant and Cabaret venue increase dramatically. Sometimes to an unbearable level as they appear to have little interest in the entertainment.
“ Top Tip: The local bus to the centre of Torremolinos runs from outside the Hotel 1.22 euros each and always on time.

Only stayed for a last minute 4 day break, so didn't see much of the surrounding area. On arrival we were met with a spotless, airy reception area, and check in was swift with pleasant receptionists. We were given a room on the 6th floor which was again lovely and clean although a little on the small size but perfectly adequate for our short stay. There was no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities which we prefer even in A/I hotels.
The pool area didn't seem that big for the size of the hotel, and the sunbeds were very uncomfortable , however it was nice not having to do the early morning sunbed dash as the hotel was only about half full being November .
The food in the hotel was ok although not a great deal of choice , but always managed to find something nice to eat. Drinks were plentiful and, although local spirits, I can only comment on vodka! they were very nice.
Only went to one show, a Four Tops tribute, which was ok
To sum up I feel this is a 3 star hotel not 4 star, but was fine for our short break. We were lucky as 26 degrees when we were there so spent most of our time sun bathing

“ We really like this hotel and have stayed there twice a year for several years, the quality and variety of food is really good and he the staff particularly the bar staff are very friendly even though they seem to be suffering from staff shortages , howver the entertainment team were really bad , the regular lady was on holiday and the two that were taking her place were rubbish, neither of them could speak legiible english - not good when asking quiz questions. Also we were very unhappy to be told that we could not have a midday meal on our last day even though we did not leave till 4.30 pm, unless we paid 20 euros each - 80 euros for our party of 4. Another unwelcome change from our last visit in march is that if you are not lucky enough to be allocated a room with a pool view there is a further charge of 10 euros a night to be moved even though some of the pool view rooms are vacant. As I have already booked for march 2014 I can only hope these money making ploys are stopped , if not we will not be going back there and I think they are in danger of losing several regulars.
