Bungalows Fuertesol is located just 600 metres from the nearest beach and 300 metres from the shops, bars and restaurants of the town centre. The apartments all have a terrace and are equipped with modern facilities and amenities including a kitchenette. The hotel has a terrace bar and swimming pool . There is also a mini market, squash court and mini golf on site.

“ This was our 3rd time to stay in the bungalows as they represent great value for money. Pool bar reasonable prices for snacks although drinks more expensive than in town. Shop on site OK for basics but supermarket only 5 minute walk away cheaper. Bungalow cleaned 5 days a week and towels changed 3 times in our week stay.
“ Top Tip: Aberdeen Steakhouse offer 3 course meal for 7.95 euro. Quality of food excellent. Windmill pub have buy one get one free on drinks all day every day and meals pretty good too.

We have stayed at Fuertesol for a number of years. The accommodation is basic but meets our needs. The bathroom facilities are average for an hotel of this age and the selfcatering facilities suit the needs of people who want to eat out or eat in using the two hob rings and microwave oven. A kettle and toaster are also available.
The maid service is excellent. Cleaners visit the rooms most days and clean towels are supplied every other day. All the staff at the hotel are helpful and if you do have any issues they are dealt with quickly. The pool area is kept clean but swimming is only for the brave as the pool is cold.
A great place for a quiet holiday. We will return again.
“ Top Tip: A short walk to the Eurospa at the Atlantica Center gives the best value for supermarket shopping. There is a market every Saturday at the center just up the hill from the hotel. This is worth a visit but be prepared to haggle over the prices of the goods on offer. Fado Rock is the resturant to visit.

Stayed in bungalow #343 - I asked for a quiet location & sure enough, there was no-one in any of the surrounding bungalows - though that could have been coincidence! The accommodation was quite pleasant, very clean, had one or two small flaws (no door on the freezer section of the 'fridge, needs a new shower-head in the bathroom) but I was very content with what I paid for. Importantly (for me, anyway) there was a microwave, toaster & kettle in the kitchenette - though no tin-opener, but any sensible self-caterer would bring their own anyway, also no toiletries etc. were provided, but again, no problem for me.
The pool & surrounding areas all looked to be in generally good shape, and for me, the aircraft flying directly overhead was a "bonus" - they stop between around 2100 & 0800 (generally).
The main resort is a 5-10 minute walk away, & is very good - no run-down areas or half-built hotels.
Also, no need to get taxi from the airport - the bus stop is about 60 yards away from the (slightly camouflaged) hotel reception, & costs all of 1Euro20, & they generally run every 30 minutes.
I had a great time, aided by good weather, & will definitely return, & probably to the same bungalows.
“ Top Tip: There is a large EuroSpar about 10-15 minutes walk away (at C.C Atlantico), also a cycle hire centre near the main beach - quite reasonable prices.
