We booked last minute all inclusive 7 night break. Apartments were good size clean and basic. No entertainment but the staff were all very friendly. Good location in the main part of the town centre. Breakfast was okay, lunch and dinner not good, lack of choice only usually 2-3 main dishes maximum. You get what you pay for!
If you just want a break in the sunshine with peace and quiet, book these apartments but do not go all inclusive. It is cheaper to eat and drink out.

Top Tip:
Fado Rock is the best restaurant for great food and service. The best steaks in town.
Metropolis is good all rounder has a great indian menu and also european too.
The Great Wall of China was good for chinese tasted good and friendly service.
Great walk along the beach front to the harbour and marina 5 mins from hote; and if you walk a further 20 mins there is a small shopping mall near the sheraton hotel.

“ Lovely, friendly staff. Not a bad place to stay if you're looking for budget accommodation near the beach. I would recommend it if you're not too fussy about where you lay your head - it was clean, quiet and functional. A very basic hotel - in fact, they didn't even have complimentary toiletteries which was a shame as I had taken hand luggage with very little in! They did have towels though! Damp on bedroom and bathroom walls. But for a few days rest on a budget - who cares about that?!
“ Top Tip: If you are on a budget, go for self catering as obvious as it sounds! Then, you might be able to splash out on the odd night in a nice seafood restaurant like I did - can't remember the name of my favourite one - it was in between the Italian restaurant and lighthouse. Gorgeous seafood!

The pool area was well maintained but that cannot be said about the accommodation. Our room was very shabby with a very unpleasant smell. The walls need a coat of paint, the ceiling needs replastering as the plaster was hanging down in places, the bathroom grouting was dirty and missing in places which allowed a beetle to live there, the sheets on the beds were clean but the bedspreads had cigarette burns in them, the towels and shower mat, although clean, had dark stains on them. Our patio had cracked tiles and extremely dirty plastic furniture.
The staff were very helpful but unfortunately the overall impression is that the hotel is very tired and neglected and needs some intense updating and maintenance.
“ Top Tip: I can highly recommend The Trafalgar, an english bar/restaurant very near to this hotel. It served excellent food and drinks at very competitive prices.

we were given an apartment at the back of the complex at first- with no view of either the gardens or the pool-in fact no view at all.
we complained about being so far out of the main complex and were given one near the pool.
it was very basic and we even had to hire a kettle and toaster which to my mind is a bit of a scam to be honest.
we were there for 10 days and had our towels changed twice , however , despite the hot temps of 30 degrees and over our sheets were not changed at all .
however there was much local entertainment , bars and restaurants to walk to within easy reach.
unlike most complexes they did not offer any entertainment, not even to keep any children occupied.
a very basic hotel/apts. do not think i will go there agsin
“ Top Tip: best place to eat- chinese restaurant called CHINA in the main shopping complex about 5 mins walk away.

For a 2 key hotel the accomadation was very good ( a lick of paint would have made it excellent)
We went self-catering, but only made a cup of tea as within a few steps from the hotel was every type restaurant you could possibly want
“ Top Tip: The best Restaurant for food and value was Fado Rock Steak House ( ate there 9 out of our 14 nights ) as for entertainment go to Pieros Music Cafe
