great staff from the manager Jorge to miguel and antonio the waiters such nice people food was freshly cooked well worth the all inclusive price quiet hotel opposite the beach 15 mns from airport and walking distance to shopping centre(mac donald burger king shops cinema....)
We asked for a late check out they told us we could keep the room as long as we wanted so we checked out at 6.30pm such nice people who couldnt do enough for you had a wonderful stay and want to thank all the staff for it.
“ Top Tip: Best beach and shopping centre walking distance 2 mns from hotel on right hand side and restaurants on left near marina, spectacular sunset, and safe area people walking at night not a problem felt safe!

Very nice spacious suites well equiped with a kitchen with hob, microwave and fridge.
Breakfasts were excellent with cooked options available. Evening meals were a bit disappointing. Warmed up tinned potatos and other vegetables offered. We had several meals outside the hotel and found them to be very good and reasonably priced so maybe B and B rather than half board might be a better option.
The old bottled water scam is a bit irritating. 4+ euros for a couple of small bottles is a bit thick when the meals are prepaid.
On the site there are sunbathing terraces around rather cold pools with some nice views across the bay. These are paved so you might find that children would need to be taken to the beach (about 200m).

“ No atmosphere at the hotel at all. Rooms OK. Food very poor and repetitive. No entertainment. Had 3 meals at the Barcelo, half a mile away, had entertainment every night, with things going on for children.
“ Top Tip: Book the Barecelo Hotel.

“ Top Tip: Great fish Restaraunt right by the hotel, looks like a white shed, but fab fresh fish, no menu, waiter just brings the fish they have caught that day, what a great find.
